Variant fingerprints. Please cue the Jaws soundtrack in your mind.

Variant fingerprints - some variants are more gut orientated. Some lungs. Etc.

But government enhanced protections are growing weaker.

Those variant fingers are likely to grab us by the heart one day.

Back on December 27,2021, Delta and their chief medical officer, CarlosdelRio7 wrote RWalensky asking her to shorten the 10 day isolation policy.

She agreed, despite everyone informing her that this was not good. We know the usual reasons why.

Transmission lasts longer than 1-2 days, people won't mask, people forced to work will be more likely to get LongCovid. More people will infected.

Blah, blah - all turned out to be true.

And, at the time, BA.2 was starting to pop up....

@LongDesertTrain and @PeacockFlu were just starting to really dive into it.

SARS2 is a novel virus - what each mutation means, sometimes we have an idea.

But an awful lot of the time it's smart people

making their best guess.

We see the same thing in H5N1 - people have more of an idea, but with thousands of permutations of mutations? No one can give answers with absolute certainty.

For example, BA.2 and it's now 2024.

BA.2 was thought to be better because it attacked the lungs less.

In a study comparing Delta, BA.1, BA.2, a group of very hard-working scientists discovered that BA.2 does a variety of things that Delta and BA.1 do
not do - or a whole lot less of.

Your cardiomyocytes (CMs) get tore up from the floor up.

Or to put it in another way..."contractile, mitochondrial and electrophysiological function(s)" were all compromised.

And that's not the worst part....
Omicron BA.2 does not induce more severe lung damage in vivo We next evaluated the infectivity and pathology of Omicron BA.2 and Delta in the lung to test if the severe damage induced by Omicron BA.2 in the heart arise from more severe pulmonary injury. The plague assay revealed significantly lower viral titre in Omicron BA.2 infected lung than Delta (Additional file 7, Fig. S4A), consistent with previous reports in the respiratory system but contrary to our results in the heart.
In summary, Omicron BA.2 induced expression changes associated with compromised contractile, mitochondrial and electrophysiological function, compared with other variants, and this may be related to dysregulation of a specific set of transcription factors.

The study is long and thoughtfully done - I strongly urge you to read it, and think about this....

BA.2 used an entirely new method to invade the CMs. Completely unknown at the time.

There are now possibly billions with possibly permanent cardiac damage.

So, if someone pish poshes you for saying that a celebrity had a stroke or cardiac event after getting BA.2?

Pay them
no mind.

You are more likely than them to be right - and now you have the study on WHY that damage possibly occurred with BA.2 and not with Delta or BA.1.

If someone pushes you to demask, like Marc Veld, proclaiming that like the Australian rabbit virus, C0Vid is growing
milder? Pish posh.

He knows not of what he speaks.

No one can possibly grasp the endless effects a vasculature virus can wreak on your body - or evade your immune system.

Just today it was discovered that neutrophils are captured by mast cells.

This turns out to be a normal part of our immune system.

Yet, we know neutrophils are manipulated by SARS2 in a variety of negative ways.

Are the neutrophils inside of mast cells?

Hopefully, this ties together the big picture of why lowering your guard is a bad idea by
pulling back the curtain on how the mutations first get talked about. Then how, YEARS later, we find out it actually made no sense to take off the N95 because NO ONE knows what each variant may do.

Keep the N95 on - and your body a wonderland.

So your heart won't be aching.

Remember this 👇dairy worker from Texas?

While ocular receptors do exist on the eyes, this particular H5N1, also showed up as respiratory symptoms.

Scientists tested it and found it replicates in cells from the lungs, but not as quickly as the fatal version from the Blood shot eyes directly from the study.
2003/2004 Vietnam outbreak.

It was faster than an Ohio version from this same outbreak though.

Unfortunately, it is not the stress of the pandemic causing GI issues like IBS, but C0vid itself.

And this thread of studies is based on variant fingerprints.

Each variant's mutations will infect and interact negatively
with the body in a different way.

Nadya Okamoto, @nadyaokamoto, the protagonist in this article has had her IBS for about 3 years.

She has tried multiple medications to try and resolve it - to no avail.

And that caught my eye. Because Delta is known for being GI intensive.

I am a pretty optimistic guy. For example, I still feel Zero COVID is on the table.

I have given up all hope on H5N1 of being contained.

But not from The Cafeteria Worker.

From one tiny detail that you missed in the study.

But that's not what caught my eye.

A grackle is a type of bird, and it was in their study.

Dead. As dead as my hopes of containment. Farm staff identified as many as 14 sick cattle and 6 healthy cattle at each farm and collected a deep nasal swab sample from each animal. Data regarding the cattle were captured on a sampling form. Additionally, at Farm B we were invited to collect milk samples from a group of previously ill cattle, and orotracheal and cloacal swab samples from the dead grackle found that morning in a cattle barn.

I read this poll and saw that 8% of America wore a mask last week.

The first Bird Flu human to human transmission in America.

Additionally, in one of the only serological studies of dairy workers during this epizootic, two (20%) of 10 dairy workers from Farm A who donated sera had evidence of elevated titers against a recombinant H5N1 virus of clade 2.3.4.4b virus by a MN assay. IMPORTANT DETAILS:

One of the cows was C0Vid positive.

Looks like at least 4 weeks is needed for antibodies to develop.

I have been insistent that respiratory transmission is primary.

The timing confirms that here. We observe that workers in Farm A had more time (~4 weeks) to develop antibodies to the H5N1 virus as compared to workers on Farm B (~2 weeks) as Farm A experienced the H5N1 epizootic 14 days earlier than Farm B.  282 283 284 285 286 287 288 289 290 291 292 293 294 295 296 297 298 299 300 301 302 303 The study is also unique in documenting a likely SARS-CoV-2 infection in the nasal secretions of a sick cow. March 6th Farm A cattle illness noticed.
March 21st, 6 (42%) of 14 sick cattle positive.
April 1st 1 (10%) of 10 sick cattle positive.

"the virus seems to rapidly clear from cattle nasal tissues, infected cows may shed H5N1 for longer periods in their milk." Workers in Farm A first noticed cattle illness on March 6th and by April 1st cattle illnesses had largely waned. We found H5N1 HPAIV virus in 6 (42%) of 14 sick cattle nasal swabs on March 21st, 1 (10%) of 10 sick cattle nasal swabs on April 1st, and none of 14 sick cattle nasal swabs on April 3rd .  On Farm B, cattle illnesses were first observed on March 20th. When we visited the farm on April 4th, we found only 1 (7%) of 14 ill cows to have evidence of H5N1 HPAIV in their nasal swabs. Look, my message is not to scare you, but to warn you.

The CDC is basically setting up a huge experiment in H5N1 mutation. Whether it's M2 blockers or neuramidinase inhibitors like Tamiflu.

These studies have one thing in common.

Don't do this for very long.
And it turns out this has been studied. Not a lot, but by people far more experienced in these waters. I am very comfortable in the froth of aerosols. Not do much here.

But, I can read studies as well as anybody. So here we go.
The intro thread had a study showing that Tamiflu can lead to the same influenza mutating to become drug resistant.

This study is about two other drugs.
