Mainstream health advice is a recipe for inflammation, insulin resistance, and chronic disease.

Here are 7 lies they've told you:

1) Meat causes cancer Image
The studies that claim meat causes cancer forgot to take into account:

• The large fries
• The 32oz Coke
• The hyper-processed buns and condiments

The 4oz of meat in the meal isn’t what’s causing cancer.

They also fail to differentiate between a hot dog and quality beef.
Meat is one of the most nutrient-dense foods on the planet.

Our ancestors survived and thrived on it for millions of years.

This ancient food isn’t the problem.

Engineered modern “food” is.
2) “Eggs cause heart disease”

Cholesterol from eggs has been wrongly associated with heart disease.

But studies show eggs in the diet don't raise "bad" cholesterol in the blood.

Eggs mainly raise GOOD cholesterol.

They're one of nature’s most nutrient-dense superfoods.
3) “Eating throughout the day boosts your metabolism”

Studies have shown no difference in metabolism between people who eat 2 meals a day vs. 6.

We aren’t meant to be constantly eating.

And longer periods without eating are great for your gut health and digestive system.
4) “Saturated fat is bad for you”

Old studies blamed saturated fat for heart disease.

But these studies were highly flawed and politically motivated.

Newer studies show there is zero association between the two.

There is 0 reason to fear meat, eggs, coconut oil, or butter.
5) “Low-fat foods are good for you”

Another marketing scheme by Big Food companies.

Low-fat foods are often:

• Highly processed
• Preserved with seed oils
• Loaded with sugar and corn syrup

Be wary of anything with the label “low-fat.”
6) “Grains should be the base of your diet”

This idea is a complete fallacy.

Grains are relatively low in nutrients compared to foods like fruits, vegetables, and meat.

And the pesticides irritate your gut.

Excess consumption of grains can lead to a host of health problems.
7) “You only need 40g of protein a day”

Old studies claimed that high-protein diets cause kidney disease.

But just like the rest of these claims, it’s untrue.
Protein is actually associated with improved bone health.

And eating a high-protein diet combats the two main risk factors for kidney disease:

Diabetes and high blood pressure.

The most sustainable way to lose weight and enhance cardiovascular performance:

It's not biking.
It's not running.
It's not swimming.

It's incline walking.

Here are 7 reasons why you should try it: Image
1) Low Impact

Incline walking is extremely low impact compared to other forms of cardio.

You can get your cardio while protecting your joints and minimizing stress on your body.

Use the 12, 3, 30 method:

3 - Speed
12 - Incline
30 - Minutes
2) Burns Calories

Compared to walking on flat ground, incline walking burns ~ 50% more calories.

Because you’re walking uphill, your body requires more energy to go the same distance.

A 12-3-30 session burns ~300 calories, the same as running 3 miles.

You breathe without thinking.

But 99% of people breathe incorrectly.

Here’s how to fix your breath for better physical performance, mental performance, and facial structure: Image
Many people breathe:

-Shallow and into their upper chest
-Through an OPEN MOUTH
-Using their upper neck accessory muscles

How you should be breathing:

-Deep breathes into your "belly"
-Through your NOSE with a closed mouth
-Using your diaphragm muscle

Here’s why:
The benefits of nasal breathing are many:

- Better oral health
- Better filtration of air
- More oxygen to brain
- Improved oxygenation of the blood
- Activates parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest)

But aside from functionality, how you breathe affects how you look.

Heart disease is the leading cause of death.

But it’s insulin resistance that causes heart disease, strokes, cancers and other inflammatory conditions

Since your doctor won’t help you avoid it, here are 43 sentences that will: Image
1) Insulin resistance occurs due to poor metabolic health.

2) When you eat, your pancreas naturally releases insulin to absorb the sugar out of your bloodstream into the muscle, fat and liver cells.
3) If sugar levels are chronically elevated, your body, like a drug addict, requires more insulin to have the same effect.

4) You can be insulin resistant without any symptoms, since it’s a leading indicator and blood sugar is a lagging indicator.

Visceral Fat is a giant risk factor for heart disease, diabetes, and various cancers.

Here’s your 8-step roadmap to lose the visceral fat, fix your health, and save your life: Image
1. Start Moving

You don’t need to run a marathon.

You need to walk.

Walking will burn calories, aid in digestion, and suppress appetite by lowering ghrelin (the hunger hormone).

It’s sustainable, low-effort, has a low-risk profile and can be done almost anywhere.
2. Use a Feeding Window

After years of abuse, the gut needs to rest.

Long periods without food teach the body to use stored energy and reduce inflammation.

A window can also help prevent nighttime snacking and overeating.

Start with 12 hours, and push as it becomes easy.

40 sentences that will teach you more about nutrition than a $400,000 medical degree.

1) Meat, eggs and animal organs are the most nutrient dense foods on the planet. Image
2) Bone broth is loaded in collagen and helps repair the gut so you can heal from the inside out.

3) Saturated fat doesn’t cause heart disease, insulin resistance does.

4) Your ratio of triglycerides to HDL is a great indicator of mortality risk; the lower the better.
5) Protein is the most metabolically active macronutrient and it isn’t bad for your kidneys.

6) There isn’t quality evidence to show that dietary cholesterol impacts the cholesterol in your blood.
