The feeling of being gaslit on any level is uncomfortable, and it makes you feel a little like you're going crazy. A lot of Jews are probably feeling like that but it's hard to cling on to truth when a lot of people join in the abuse, even people you trusted.

The facts aren't really as negotiable as people make out. We know that there's two groups in conflict. We know that one of those parties openly declares their ONLY goal is genocide and ethnically cleansing the other.

We know this because it's in their charter, they say it openly, loudly and proudly, they put it in their chants, they are *proud* of it. We also know the other group has never wanted anything other than to be left in peace.

What took me time to realise is that *most* people (unless they're genuinely a half wit) knows all this too. They know perfectly well ain't nobody in Palestine "resisting" for any reason other that murder, and re-colonising Israel so it can be ISLAMIC.

And they just don't care. Because, similar to the Nazis and the *millions* of people around the world who were sympathetic to Hitlers ideology that Jews were uniquely malignant people, these people genuinely are so antisemitic that they are happy to root for their death

People are, in many cases, both stupid, and beset by their *own* form of evil. Those people would like to see Israel annihilated and for Hamas to do their worst. That would make them happy, just like it did 80 years ago when the last movement tried it.

It really doesn't matter to them what that means in practice. They don't think that far ahead. And it was only after 7 October that I realised people were like this. And it has been such a deeply sad experience, but I find myself pitying them more than us. Shame on them all.
