In 2018, Mark Zuckerberg was one of the most hated CEOs on the planet.

6 years later, he wears chains, surfs in tuxedos and fights Lex Fridman.

Everyone seems to love him.

It's the most brilliant PR transformation of the century and everyone needs to understand why it worked: 🧵Image
Image
Remember this scrawny, awkward hacker?

Now, he’s a jacked CEO who fights Lex Fridman & wears chains.

Here’s what you missed about Zuck’s PR transformation:
Image
Image
2004: A nervous 19-year-old in flip-flops launches Facebook from his dorm room.

2024: A confident 40-year-old in gold chains wakeboarding while holding the American flag.

What happened in between?
It's not just about looks.

Zuck's gone from awkward Congressional hearings to scrapping with UFC fighters.

From "smoking meats" videos to receiving gold chains from T-Pain.

This isn't an accident...
Coincidentally, it's coincided with Meta getting its mojo back.

Meta stock is up 60% this year (& 160% in the last 5).

Zuck's transformation mirrors Meta's:

• Meta: From scandal-plagued social media to AI innovator
• Zuck: From robotic CEO to relatable tech bro

The secret? Image
Zuck's new strategy: Authenticity.

He's not pretending to be a normal guy anymore. He's owning his billionaire status.

• Wakeboarding in a tux? Check.
• Collecting designer chains? Yep.
• Training with MMA fighters? You bet.

Other transformations we're seeing:
Zuck's whole wardrobe got an upgrade:

• Out: Dishwater tees and hoodies
• In: Capri cabana shirts and Yeezy-esque sweatshirts

And:

• He's let his hair grow out into Gen-Z curls
• He's engaging with fashion designers in IG comments

The secret: Image
While Elon Musk picks culture war fights on X, Zuck's projecting a "whatever bro, I'm doing me" vibe.

By embracing his quirky billionaire status instead of hiding it, Zuck's become MORE relatable.

Now, he's just spending time with his family & spending his billions as we would.
The big takeaway:

Whether or not you liked Zuck before, you probably like him more now.

And it's all down to him just being himself.

This is what people get wrong about personal brand:
They think a personal brand is about being someone else.

That a personal brand = the LinkedIn influencer types.

But Zuck's transformation shows you:

Your authentic self is what leads to the best outcomes.

@iamjasonlevin puts this extremely well:
"If you want to be loved by masses, stop pretending to be normal and middle class and acting ashamed of your wealth (no one finds shame cool)."

This goes for whoever you are:
If you're just starting out to entrepreneurship, don't try and share lessons from a place of authority.

Those who ACTUALLY have authority won't respect you for it.

Be authentic. Share your journey & struggles instead.

Now, you're probably wondering what MY authority is here:
The reason I can share this lesson is because I work with founders to craft their personal brands online.

I KNOW Zuck's lesson applies. I see it in the results we get for founders we work with:

Authenticity sells.

People crave it, and they can see through the BS.

So:
Tell your real story online.

Share the successes, wins and wisdom.

The benefits are infinite: You'll attract people who align with your vision in the thousands.

Hiring, investment, sales — all become a breeze.

Just be authentic.

They built a trillion-dollar paradise from nothing:

• In 1961, it had no electricity
• In 2025, $1M flows through its banks every 12 seconds

All because of ONE ruler's decision to invest wealth differently.

The untold story of the most daring transformation in history🧵 Image
Picture this:

A small fishing village and pearl trading center in the desert.

No agriculture. Limited resources. Just endless sand dunes.

But they had something more valuable: A vision to transform this trading post into something extraordinary.

Here's what most people miss:
The secret wasn't just building infrastructure.

It was building a brand.

Their rulers understood something profound: To attract talent and capital, you need more than just buildings.

You need a compelling vision that makes people want to be part of your story:

This is Gad Saad.

His research on how bad ideas infect society made him an international bestseller in 20+ languages.

He regularly goes viral on X.

Yesterday, on Joe Rogan, he exposed why "mind viruses" have become so common.

The 12 most powerful insights Gad Saad shared🧵 Image
1. Our brains are wired to resist change.

Leon Festinger discovered something fascinating:

The mental gymnastics we'll perform to maintain cognitive consistency are incredible. We'll literally create elaborate justifications just to avoid changing our minds.
2. Science has a dangerous blind spot.

Gad's groundbreaking study revealed it:

When his research found no significant effects across 16 measures, journals rejected it. Why? Because "null results" don't get published.

This creates a massive skew in scientific literature...

Marc Andreessen just shocked the world on Lex Fridman.

He exposed:

• Government forcing banks to cut off Trump's family
• Universities discriminating against certain races
• Meta's ridiculous diversity policy

12 insights from their conversation I can't stop thinking about🧵 Image
1. The Hidden Power of Dinner Parties

At Silicon Valley dinner parties, everyone agrees on everything.

But there's a secret "whisper network" where real conversations happen.

The truth? Most elites are afraid to speak their minds publicly.
2. The University System Is Broken

National Merit Scholars represent the top 0.5% of intellectual talent in America.

Yet not a single university actively recruits them.

While they have full-time scouts for sports, pure genius goes unnoticed.

Trump International Hotel in 1993:

A building worth PENNIES on the dollar.

Everyone said Donald Trump was crazy to buy it...

Then he had one INGENIOUS idea & manipulated it into Manhattan's most prestigious address overnight.

Here's the full story🧵 Image
First, some context:

The building was originally the Gulf and Western Building - a dull, aluminum-clad office tower completed in 1970.

By the early 90s, it faced huge financial difficulties...
The marble facade was crumbling. Occupancy was plummeting.

Most developers wouldn't touch it.

But Trump saw something others missed: Image

OpenAI just launched an "AI Agent" that can control your computer.

And by 2034, AI agents will:

• Replace 70% of office work (McKinsey)
• Add $7 trillion to the global economy (Goldman)

Most jobs will become obsolete.

What you need to know (& how you should prepare)🧵 Image
Picture this:

You walk into your office in 2030.

But instead of colleagues typing away at keyboards, you see AI agents running entire departments.

Customer service. Data analysis. Project management.

All automated.

But here's what's fascinating:
These aren't just chatbots or simple automation tools.

AI agents are autonomous systems that can perceive their environment through sensors and execute tasks end-to-end.

Here's the game-changer:
