Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick came to CNN with a warning—and a number that stopped the conversation cold.

We cannot afford to continue with the status quo.

“America has a $1.2 trillion trade deficit,” he said.

“That means other people are selling US goods, more than we are selling them. And that’s just not balanced. It’s not fair.”

He didn’t stop there.

“We’re losing $1.2 trillion a year, of which directly and indirectly to China. That’s about $1 trillion.”

For Lutnick, this isn’t just an economic figure—it’s a threat to the country’s long-term strength.

“It’s just unsustainable for $1.2 trillion to be exported to the rest of the world… it’s building them up, and over time it’s taking us down.”

That, he explained, is why President Trump is turning to tariffs, not as punishment, but as leverage.

“The idea is the president wants balanced and fair trade, and tariffs are the tool to create balanced and fair trade.”

Bill Maher just took a flamethrower to woke Democrats and their anti-American base.

He says they’re doomed if things don’t change soon.

Not only did Maher say the American flag is being disrespected—he delivered a brutal reality check to a certain group of activists.

The show opened with an interview with David Hogg, the youngest person ever elected as a DNC vice chair.

David is not someone most conservatives agree with on much, but he dropped a surprisingly good take on why Democrats are bleeding voters.

The answer? They’re no longer the party of fun.

He got a huge reaction from Bill Maher after saying Democrats need to reconnect with young men who just want to “get laid and have fun” without walking on eggshells.

He said the parties have flipped. Democrats are now the snobs who judge your every move, whereas Republicans are much less rigid.

“What I think happened last election is younger men—they would rather vote for somebody who they don’t completely agree with, they don’t feel judged by, than somebody who they do agree with, that they feel like they have to walk on eggshells around constantly because they’re going to be judged or ostracized or excommunicated.”

And because of that, young men are walking away.

“Nobody is perfect. But ultimately, what we have to do here is figure out how to bring people back in and work towards the bigger goal of advancing the future of this country and helping young people especially get by, so that they’re able to focus on their lives and getting with a young woman or something like that, instead of how are they going to pay their rent, for example, or how are they working their two jobs.

“Young people should be able to focus on what young people should be focused on, which is how to get laid and how to go and have fun.”

Maher clapped, stood up, and shook Hogg’s hand after that comment.

In other news, a former U.S. housing official says the government secretly built a $21 TRILLION underground city for the ultra-wealthy to survive a “near-extinction event.”

This was revealed by Catherine Austin Fitts on Tucker Carlson’s podcast.

Tucker asked her what the purpose of such a city would be. Fitts replied: “The purpose is if you thought you were going to get a near-extinction event.”

Her claims were corroborated by Michigan State University economist Mark Skidmore, whose team uncovered $21 trillion in undocumented federal spending between 1998 and 2015.

So the question remains: What exactly are they preparing for, and why hasn’t the public been told?
