In 2017 Marjorie Roome took up competitive indoor rowing for women over 60, winning repeated world championships and breaking world records by such a large margin that most women refused to compete against him and he'd end up as the only competitor

Marjorie Roome is now dominating the women's 70+ category. But Joanne Blundell, having dominated the women's 55-59 age category, is now in his 60s and is, according to a women's rowing insider, beating Roome's world record times for the 60+ categories he set a few years ago 4/4

The NHS, in conjunction with the LGBT Foundation, has published a guide full of errors and ideological statements for its staff on how to conduct therapy for 'LGBTQ+ people', as it claims their needs are different to the rest of society. Here's what it states 1/8

Last year Teresa had life-saving surgery cancelled at the last minute, and was accused by UK hospital Princess Grace of discrimination, for requesting post-op same-sex intimate care after a 'trans nurse' entered her examination room uninvited UPDATE 1/6
Following a public outcry, the hospital's CEO apologised and admitted that Teresa’s privacy and dignity had been breached when the man entered her room (but denied he knew she was 'gender critical'), and the surgery was rescheduled for a few days later 2/6

Marjorie Roome is an extraordinary but real example of what happens to women's sport when men are allowed to compete in women's categories.
Marjorie is a man who says he 'identifies' as a woman. He took up indoor rowing and has been allowed to compete in women's championships 1/4
In 2017 he broke the women's British time record for the 65-69 age category, and in 2018 won the women's World Indoor Rowing Championships for that category, destroying the competition and posting faster times than any woman in her 30s achieved. 2/4
He won the 65-69 women's world championships every year and is now in his 70s. In 2022 he broke the British record for the 70-74 age category. However, most women now refuse to compete against him and Marjorie, a man, is typically the only competitor in his age category 3/4
