Andenes port is far from deep enough and the surroundings looks like a lousy anchorage. Looks unprotected from the low pressure systems hitting shore on friday.

Tried to look up Ruby via IMO registry. Not registered on her IMO#, MMSI# nor name. Only cool ships do that. (No, it is highly irregular to not be registered there.)

Local press allegedly report another destination slightly more south. Also with people. And military.

Update: Ruby passed Andøya air base 4 km away. Took a route closer than necessary (possibly because pilot told her to? They get on outside port/air base.)

Now in Andfjorden, shadowed by NO frigate Roald Amundsen.

I'd love to see the reasoning in the risk analysis of Norway.

It was Norwegian authorities, including MOD and coast guard that advised floating bomb Ruby to anchor up 2 hours from one of Norways most strategic points: Andøya air and space base.

That risk analysis must be very dry and thoroughly lack imagination.

Ruby is taking on fuel from NO tanker GRIP SOLAR.
Norwegian navy frigate ROALD AMUNDSEN has been outside Andöya air base during morning.

Guess what! Coming 3 weeks the possibilities for broken fertilizer bomb ship RUBY to leave anchorage are limited.

Starting monday, each night 18.00-04.00 her only way out will be hindered because of launch activites from Andøya spaceport.

Her draught does not allow other paths

Huge areas are restricted as "Danger areas" which leaves 14 hours a day for the exit of RUBY.

The trip is about 5 hours, so doable, but we are also looking at potential delays of either space ops or RUBY.

I doubt they will take chances of rockets falling on RUBY.

I have not found whats being launched, but suspect ISAR launch vechicle, pictured. Someone said it is something strategic and very important but I have not found if true. Input welcome!
