I mean…what an opening: “Donald Trump is holding a rally on Thursday in a rented hall in my hometown, Tucson. I would prefer to ignore that sad fact. But since the building has my name on it, I need to say something.” She is not messing around here & Donald better be careful

This is huge. 88 corporate leaders & CEOs just endorsed Kamala Harris. Corporate leaders don’t do this for no reason. The fact that they endorsed Kamala Harris should send a strong signal about just how good she is & why we all must vote for her to make our economy stronger.

It’s a masterclass in communications for several reasons — 1.) The tone. He doesn’t demean his opponents. He doesn’t engage from a place of hostility. He doesn’t raise his voice. He is calm. He is composed. He is collected. That allows him to more effectively make his argument.
2.) He addresses a question that’s on a lot of folks’ minds — why are so many people from Silicon Valley veering off into Trump world? And immediately pivots to making what appears to be complex something that’s actually simple.

THREAD: I know the danger of Project 2025, because I know one of its key architects, Christopher Miller. I interviewed him on iGen Politics after he left the Trump admin. I was 18 at the time & asked a simple question about his role on 1/6. He blew up & started yelling at ME.
The question was a simple one: In hindsight, would you have done anything differently as the acting director of the Defense Department. Totally fair question. But instead of answering it, he started swearing and threatened to leave the show. Watch:
Luckily, my amazing podcast partner @JillWineBanks stepped in and reigned him back in, but in our over 200+ episodes of the show, we never had someone act as inappropriately or disrespectfully as Chris Miller. I thought that interview would be the last I saw of him. Wrong.
