This video of Trump promising to block emergency disaster funds to CA because of political vendettas is why Gavin Newsom is calling an emergency session & why every governor with a Blue trifecta must do the same. States are the frontlines of democracy.
Donald Trump, in this video, is standing in California. He calls @GavinNewsom a pejorative name & says he won’t provide him funding in the case of an emergency disaster. We know who Trump is. Now is the time to take action & be proactive before it’s too late.

NEW: The Kamala Harris campaign just released its final ad & I’m reduced to tears. Kamala Harris is the leader we need. Working for her has been an honor of the lifetime & we are going to fight like never before these next 3 days to get her elected as president. Watch & share.
What I love about this ad is how voters see Kamala Harris. From the opening shot with Hannah to voters telling Kamala how she's going to bring us together, Kamala inspires. She brings joy. She brings happiness. That matters & we are so much better for it.

Don't look away: "She Voted for Trump. Then She Had Two Terrifying Miscarriages in Texas. My sister Victoria spent 24+ hours hemorrhaging into 3 diapers when Dallas-area hospitals declined to help. 'You’re not supposed to have regrets, but I do,' she said about supporting Trump."
If you read one thing today, please make it be this piece right here. It's absolutely heart-breaking and gut-wrenching in the worst ways possible. It shows that there are real-life consequences to Trump's abortion policies. Every man & woman should care. thebarbedwire.com/2024/10/09/she…

This is AMAZING. Gov. Tim Walz just announced a media blitz to reach young men, including a reunion with his former high school football team that he coaches & pheasant hunting with a bunch of social media influencers. THIS is what Gov. Walz does best & it’s will matter a lot.
“Faced with a serious polling deficit among young men, Harris' campaign is dispatching the Minnesota governor on a man-focused media blitz on Friday, including football-focused TV interviews and pheasant hunting with digital influencers.” This is what I’ve wanted to see forever!!

This is AMAZING. The Kamala Harris is live-streaming Gov. Walz’s rally in Arizona on The World of Warcraft Twitch stream — which consists of predominantly young men. There is no better messenger than Gov. Walz for this demographic. Genius move that will matter a lot.
More: “Kamala Harris’ campaign is livestreaming a Tim Walz rally from Arizona and Azeroth tonight. Yes, Azeroth—the planet from World of Warcraft. This will be the first time the Harris campaign will stream live gameplay on its Twitch account.” .wired.com/story/tim-walz…

This is big. A new poll today finds that only 45% of Nikki Haley voters would vote for Donald Trump & 36% of them would vote for Vice President Kamala Harris if the election were held today. Thank you, Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, & every Republican speaking out. It matters.
This pollcomes "on the heels of a New York Times/Siena College poll showing that Harris has made major inroads among GOP voters, with 9 percent saying they planned to support the vice president, up from 5 percent from a survey last month." thebulwark.com/p/exclusive-po…

To recap VP Harris’s reach this week so far (based on averages):
—Call Her Daddy: 5 million
—60 Minutes: 10.5 million
—The View: 2.45 million
—Howard Stern Show: 10 million
—Stephen Colbert: 3.2 million
That’s a total of 25 million+ viewers MSM would never allow us to reach.
THREAD below:
That’s not including the Univision Town Hall later this week, which averages about 1.1M viewers.
Neither does it count Gov Walz’s interviews on:
—Fox on Sunday (970K)
—SmartLess (500k-1M)
—Jimmy Kimmel (1.68M)
Total of 30+ million views across VP & Gov. Walz

Hear me out: More people my age have texted me personally saying they listened to VP Harris on Alex Cooper Call Her Daddy podcast compared to any other legacy media source. And they say they now know VP Harris so much better.
The Harris campaign knows what it’s doing.
Some of the words they’re using to describe the episode:
As my previous thread today said, this podcast is reaching a segment of young people who just wouldn’t tune into politics. This conversation matters.

I really need everyone to understand how big Call Her Daddy/Alex Cooper is:
—Second-most popular podcast in the world; 5+ million downloads a week
—Most-listened to podcast among women ages 18-24
—Reaches a lot of people who are NOT political
So, yes, this matters & is huge.
ALSO:
Something you may not know is that Alex Cooper’s podcast was first owned by Barstool Sports - which is huge among the frat community & Greek life.
Her podcast is wildly popular among the type of young people who may not traditionally trust or support Democrats.

Wow. The most reliable youth poll just came out & shows, among young voters:
—31-point lead for Harris over Trump
—Only *6%* have a favorable impression of Project 2024
—73% of young women prefer Harris
—Harris dominates Trump on EVERY issue & character quality
This is amazing.
THREAD 🧵 on key findings: In the Spring Biden led Trump by 13 points. In this poll it’s 31 points among likely young voters. What this shows? GET YOUNG VOTERS REGISTERED TO VOTE & ENCOURAGE THEM TO VOTE. The more who do, the better we do. See graph below 👇

Whoa. Major cracks are forming in Trump’s base. One Evangelical from Pennsylvania is speaking out now & supporting Vice President Kamala Harris, saying, “I am tired of watching meanness, bigotry & recreational cruelty be the worldly witness of our faith.” This is so important.
“[A] small and diverse coalition of evangelicals is looking to pull their fellow believers away from the former president’s fold, offering not only an alternate candidate to support but an alternate vision for their faith altogether.” nbcphiladelphia.com/news/national-…

OMG. MSNBC just aired the best montage I’ve seen—starting with Kamala Harris’s saying, “I invite you to attend one of Trump’s rallies” & then immediately showing Trump at his rally yesterday talking about everything from “geese” to grunting. SO good. Watch.
Clip 1: Harris inviting the audience to attend Trump’s rally
Clip 2: Trump dancing weirdly
Clip 3: Harris saying it’s an interesting thing to watch
Clip 4: Trump saying to women he won’t follow them to the hospital
Clip 5: Harris saying people leave Trump’s rallies early

Holy sh*t. Linda Ronstadt has absolutely HAD it with Donald Trump & JD Vance & she is not holding back one bit. This statement is so good. Everyone must read & share this.
I mean…what an opening: “Donald Trump is holding a rally on Thursday in a rented hall in my hometown, Tucson. I would prefer to ignore that sad fact. But since the building has my name on it, I need to say something.” She is not messing around here & Donald better be careful

This is huge. 88 corporate leaders & CEOs just endorsed Kamala Harris. Corporate leaders don’t do this for no reason. The fact that they endorsed Kamala Harris should send a strong signal about just how good she is & why we all must vote for her to make our economy stronger.
“Several high-profile CEOs of public companies, including Aaron Levie of Box, Jeremy Stoppelman of Yelp & Michael Lynton, chairman of Snap, Inc.”

NEW: Kamala Harris’s campaign just launched “Republicans for Harris” with 25+ former GOP elected officials & staffers saying they will reject Trump & vote for Kamala Harris this November. This matters & it’s heroic. There is a home for everyone on the Kamala Harris campaign.
“VP Kamala Harris' campaign on Sunday is launching ‘Republicans for Harris…The program will kick off with events this week in AZ, NC & PA. Republicans backing Harris will also appear at rallies with the VP and her soon-to-be-named running mate.” abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/v…

Pete Buttigieg remains one of the best, most effective messengers and communicators of our lifetime. Just take a moment & watch absolutely annihilate JD Vance—calmly, coolly, & with surgical precision. Amazing,
It’s a masterclass in communications for several reasons — 1.) The tone. He doesn’t demean his opponents. He doesn’t engage from a place of hostility. He doesn’t raise his voice. He is calm. He is composed. He is collected. That allows him to more effectively make his argument.

Here's the one thing I'm noticing: The more I talk about Project 2025 to my friends, the more concerned they get and the more committed they are to voting for President Biden. So, I will keep talking about Project 2025 with everyone I know—& you should too. It works.
Where to start, you may ask? Luckily, my friends at @BidenHQ have made some great resources & one-pages with everything you need to know about just how extreme Project 2025 is. Here are a few you can share and use during your conversations:

THREAD: I know the danger of Project 2025, because I know one of its key architects, Christopher Miller. I interviewed him on iGen Politics after he left the Trump admin. I was 18 at the time & asked a simple question about his role on 1/6. He blew up & started yelling at ME.
The question was a simple one: In hindsight, would you have done anything differently as the acting director of the Defense Department. Totally fair question. But instead of answering it, he started swearing and threatened to leave the show. Watch:

This is huge. *Sixteen* Nobel prize-winning economists just warned that Donald Trump's economic plans would reignite inflation & damage the global economy if he wins & say that President Biden's policies are "vastly superior" to Trump's. Another reason why we must vote for Biden.
"While each of us has different views on the particulars of various economic policies, we agree Biden's economic agenda is vastly superior to Trump...A 2nd Trump term would have a negative impact on [our] standing in the world, & a destabilizing effect on the domestic economy."

Pay attention to this warning from the Biden campaign today: "A new Moody’s analysis finds Biden’s policies are significantly better for the U.S. economy, while Trump’s plans would trigger a recession, cut 3.2M jobs, add 1% to inflation, & reduce middle-class families’ incomes."
New memo sent by our communications director Michael Tyler offers a scathing rebuke of Trump's economic plan and reminds voters of why we must elect Biden if we want a strong economy. Link to study: usatoday.com/story/money/20…

Wow. The German Chancellor just said this about President Biden: “I think Joe Biden is someone who is very clear, who knows exactly what he is doing & who is one of the most experienced politicians in the world—especially when it comes to international politics.”
He continues: “In a difficult situation like this, where a war is taking place in Europe after Russia invaded Ukraine, where many other conflicts are raging around the world, this is an asset, a good thing & therefore I can say this is a man who knows exactly what he is doing.”
