Trump is golfing at Trump International in West Palm Beach; he is on the 5th hole.
A USSS agent is in a golf cart and conducting a security sweep ahead of Trump going on to the 6th hole.
The agent rode drove the golf cart along the fence line and at ~1:30pm "the Agent spotted the partially obscured face of a man in the brush along the fence line. The man was later identified as Ryan Wesley Routh (“ROUTH”). ROUTH’s position was directly in line with the 6th hole.
The Agent then observed a long black object protruding through the fence and realized the object was the barrel of a rifle aimed directly at him. The Agent jumped out of the golf cart, drew his weapon, and began backing away. The Agent saw the rifle barrel move, and the Agent fired at ROUTH."
The agent got out of the golf cart, drew his weapon, the rifle moved, and the agent fired.
The agent took cover behind a tree, reloaded, radioed in "shots fired" and Trump was removed from the golf course.
Routh fled.
What is underlined in red goes to prove that Routh was there to assassinate President Trump.
Routh left behind:
-"an SKS semiautomatic 7.62x39 caliber rifle with a scope attached and an extended magazine. The rifle was loaded with a total of 11 rounds and had a round in the chamber. The serial number on the rifle was obliterated and unreadable."
-a digital camera
-a backpack
-a reusable shopping bag.
Details of Routh fleeing and being caught in these paragraphs. Most interesting here is the vehicle and what was found in it:
The Nissan Xterra Routh fled in "was not registered to the Nissan Xterra."
Inside the Xterra were:
-Two additional license plates
-Six cellphones
-12 pairs of gloves
-A Hawaii DL in Routh's name
-Routh's passport
-A number of documents, including...
a. "A handwritten list of dates in August, September, and October 2024 and venues where the former President had appeared or was expected to be present."
b. "A notebook with dozens of pages filled with names and phone numbers pertaining to Ukraine, discussions about how to join combat on behalf of Ukraine, and notes criticizing the governments of China and Russia."
ROUTH WAS HUNTING TRUMP FOR A MONTH.
Analysis of data from two of Routh's cell phones and their respective carriers reveal that Routh had been in the area of Mar-a-Lago "on multiple days and times from August 18, 2024, to September 15, 2024"
In a book that Routh authored in February 2023, Routh wrote,
"[I] must take part of the blame for the [person] that we elected for our next president that ended up being brainless, but I am man enough to say that I misjudged and made a terrible mistake and Iran I apologize. You are free to assassinate Trump as well as me for that error in judgment and the dismantling of the deal. No one here in the US seems to have the balls to put natural selection to work or even unnatural selection.”
"On September 18, 2024, law enforcement was contacted by a civilian witness who stated that ROUTH had dropped off a box at his residence several months prior. After learning of the September 15, 2024, incident at Trump International, the witness opened the box. The witness stated the box contained ammunition, a metal pipe, miscellaneous building materials, tools, four phones, and various letters."
"One handwritten letter, addressed to “The World,” stated, among other things, “This was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump but I failed you. I tried my best and gave it all the gumption I could muster. It is up to you now to finish the job; and I will offer $150,000 to whomever can complete the job.”"
Routh's criminal history going back twenty years indicates he was a danger to the public previously, on multiple occasions, and ofc he still is.
Keep this nutcase detained.
Insane how many accts/people are out there lying and/or misrepresenting what is in this filing.

The FBI has "in the interests of transparency and disclosure... reviewed the two “Ex Parte Filings” referenced in the Court’s Order and they do not object to the partial unsealing of these filings... and submit as exhibits hereto, redacted copies of the Ex Parte Filings."
Those two previously sealed Ex Parte filings are another Seidel Declaration and a Declaration by the AUSA for DC office who is head of the Homicide Section Chief.
Combs spent the night in a cell after Judge Tarnofsky denied him bail. The bail package his atty's proposed and that the judge denied included a $50mil bond, two homes, etc. Judge said NO.
This afternoon, Combs will have another shot at bail before Judge Andrew L. Carter, Jr., who is the judge assigned to his case.
Prosecutors submitted this letter request for detention yesterday. Provides a bit more narrative than the indictment did. We can expect prosecutors to bring the same arguments today. Hopefully the judge maintains the detention.
This case *may* prove to be as culturally significant as the Epstein/Maxwell cases. We'll see.
The opening paragraph pulls no punches. It accuses Combs of setting up and operating a huge, multi-faceted criminal enterprise that provided him victims, money, protected his reputation, concealed his behaviors, etc.
All things considered, debate was a dead even wash, IMO. No clear breakaway winner and no clear losing moment for either candidate.
Vice President Harris did exactly what she needed to do: survive and land a few punches. That's it.
President Trump did exactly what he needed to do: stay on message, deliver your key talking points, land a few punches, and don't fall for media traps. Trump succeeded in every way.
Because of this context, it kind of feels like Harris "won," but she "won" by not losing, which is no real victory at all.
I know that sounds kind of dumb, and that's because it is. But that's how humans are sometimes. We are dumb, irrational, silly beings who are rarely objective and more often emotional.
It only felt like Harris "won" because she managed to survive, and THAT IS IT.
Trump also "won" by not losing.
Scanning the reactions to the debate, it seems to me that people are, as is typical of these things, going off of how they feel about the debate rather than an actual score sheet or some well-thought-out metric.
