I read 55 books in 2024.

Here were my top 10 favorite ones:

(plus a key lesson from each book) Image
1) "Good Energy" by @CaseyMeansMD & @calleymeans

Written by a Stanford doctor and an ex-food lobbyist who expose the food, medical, and pharma industry.

It’s a must-read to understand our medical system, food policy, and how chronic disease forms.

Key Lesson:

Never eat food with "Red," "Blue," or "Yellow" in the ingredient list. Image

I listened to 300+ podcasts in 2024.

Here were my top 10 favorite ones: Image
1) @davidgoggins with @hubermanlab

Goggins knows more about mental toughness and grit than anyone else.

He's an ex-Navy SEAL turned ultra-endurance athlete who's run 200+ mile races and biked 400+ mile races (even after multiple knee surgeries).

2) @CaseyMeansMD & @calleymeans with @TuckerCarlson

Everyone should listen to this pod.

A Stanford-trained surgeon and an ex-food & drug lobbyist blow the whistle and share the truth about big pharma, the food industry, birth control pills, and more.

Stop trying to replace reading a book with reading a summary of it.

No one's life was ever changed from reading a book summary.

Here's the right way to use book summaries: Image
1) Book Summaries = Movie Trailers

Summaries and trailers are a great way to SAMPLE content.

Just how you watch a movie trailer to decide whether the movie is worth watching, you want to read a book summary to decide whether or not the book is worth reading.
The truth is that most books aren’t worth reading.

So it’s helpful to use summaries as a way of sampling the book to see if it’s interesting to you or contains lessons you’re looking for.

If you like the summary, that’s a good sign you should get the book.
