What Biden and Harris have done and enabled in Gaza, Lebanon, and Middle East goes beyond just a genocide. It's a new wave of colonialism.
Not sure Trump can even do worse. A thread:
1. The genocide in Gaza and the lack of accountability for Israel have opened their appetite to expand their butchery to other areas like the West Bank and Lebanon.
2. Israel's aim from this is eradicating all of its enemies, aka resistance against its colonial project, to maintain hegemony for a long period of time.
3. The US has been part and parcel of this strategy through the deceiving ceasefire talks which were used as a stalling mechanism to buy Israel time and absorb pressure from the public and other political actors like Iran.
4. This strategy of expanding the war outside of Gaza has major impacts on the region beyond mass-murdering and destruction. It aims to socially engineer people to accept their subjugation to us imperialism and Israeli colonialism.
5. Netanyahu and company have made it clear that they are seeking inspiration from the Allies efforts of de-radicalization and pacification of Germany and Japan post WWII through cultural changes. Israel wants Arabs to accept their inferiority to Israel's superior project.
6. This is also a colonial strategy that has been enforced since the 19 century following the racist and orientalist agenda of Western colonial. Colonial powers invaded the Global South, aiming to "civilize" the natives out of their "barbarism."
7. As we are witnessing in Gaza and Lebanon, Israel will mass-murder, destroy whole neighborhoods and infrastructures, and assassinate leaders to push people towards surrender. Israel thinks Arabs helplessness towards its butchery will force them to stop resisting.
8. If Israel is given impunity to continue it's strategy, we will witness more genocide, destruction, and social engineering of millions of people around the Middle East.
9. While the focus is on the death toll of our people in Gaza, Biden and Harris have given Netanyahu much more than weapons and bombs. They gave Israel the political cover and support to terrorize the whole region into submission.
10. Since resistance and the people of the region will never surrender, Israel and the US will continue bombing and destroying cities after cities until there is nothing left to destroy. This is truly another wave of the 19th century colonialism.
11. Either the whole region turns into a chaos with non-stop wars and bloodshed or Israel succeeds in subjugating our people. The outcome is dystopian and its lasting impact will be felt for generations just like Western colonialism in previous centuries.
12. Now tell me again what else can Trump do that can be worse than what Biden and Harris are supporting and enabling Israel to do.

With Hamas and Islamic Jihad declaring the return of "suicide bombings" attacks as a response to the mass-murder of civilians in Gaza, here is a quick thread on them: 1/8
Palestinian resistance started the "suicide bombings" attacks as a response to the Ibrahim Mosque Massacre which was committed by American-Israeli Baruch Goldstein in 1994, killing 26 Palestinians while praying. 2/8
This incident was pivotal in the Palestinian cause since the resistance, especially Hamas, were strictly targeting military targets. However, given the complicity of the Israeli government in the massacre, resistance decided to "match" Israeli aggression against civilians. 3/8
These arguments that Israel is assassinating Hamas leaders who want truce/ceasefire agreements to prevent peace are half truths and problematic:
Hamas follows a consensus democracy for decision making processes, especially about major ones. There are democratic institutions that represent Hamas geographic popular bases. No one leader, big or small, can make a large impact decision on their own.
The argument is also problematic because it infers that Hamas, and Palestinian resistance, is just a brainless and bloody militia without vision or strategies to benefit the cause. Following Orientalist tropes, the argument implies that 1 man can control the future of millions.
In reality, the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh is just a symbolic victory for Israel and doesn't change much on the ground. This decades-long strategy of assassinating leaders of Palestinian resistance movements never weakened them, especially not Hamas.
After the assassination of Sheikh Ahmad Yassin and Al-Rantisi, founders of Hamas, Israel thought the leadership of Hamas was destroyed. On the contrary, Hamas got stronger and that forced it to invest in its political leadership outside of the Palestine borders.
Even when Israel assassinated Al-Qassan leaders, the brigade was able to develop stronger leaders that were able to develop the brigades to where they are today.
After killing Imad Aqel and Yahya Ayyash in the 90s, Al-Qassam recruited more fighters.
The defeat of Jamaal Bowman shouldn't be shocking because of how American Democracy work along with his shaky centrist position on the Palestinian cause. Thread: 1/8
American Democracy isn't broken, it's functioning as expected. It's an oligarchy where public policy is defined by interest groups and not the majority rule. American Democracy allows public participation in elections with a "bounded uncertainty" to limit impact on politics. 2/8
AIPAC & other interest groups are part & parcel of American Democracy. America as an empire is aligned with interest groups when it comes to domestic & international politics, leading to economic & political benefits for all. Challenging that status quo is very hard. 3/8
While speaking in favor of Palestine now, Bassem Youssef was part of the problem of besieging & isolating Gaza to face this genocide.
Youssef helped Sisi in overthrowing Morsi & outlawing Ikhwan, curbing Egypt's political and material support to Gaza. 1/6
Sisi wouldn't have made it to power without the full support of the US & Israel. The price of the coup was to suffocate Gaza on all levels. Ending political support, destroying tunnels used to smuggle food & weapons, and emptying Egyptian Rafah to get rid of popular support. 2/6
While Morsi and Ikhwan weren't taking an anti-imperialist approach, they wouldn't have been quiet on this genocide without putting any pressure on the US and Israel. In 2014 war, Morsi definitely helped stop the war from escalating further. 3/6
