The most used, abused, and unsupervised drug in the world.

Caffeine.

It is the reason why you feel tired every time you wake up.

Here's why coffee is so dangerous and how to drink it properly (backed by science): Image
Image
For the past 10 years I would drink 3-5 cups of coffee daily.

3 months ago I went caffeine-free. It was hard at first but the rewards were worth it.

• Clear thinking
• No more anxiety
• No afternoon crashes

So what changed my mind?
In the 1980s NASA did a study on spiders.

They exposed them to caffeine, LSD, weed, and speed—then they saw how spiders built their webs.

Caffeine was by far the worst drug. Image
My entire life I woke up feeling tired, anxious, and groggy.

For a long time I didn't know the reason.

But recently I discovered it was because of the time caffeine lasts in your body…
Caffeine's effect lasts 4 hours—but it stays in your body for a total of 10-12 hours.

Adenosine (the chemical that says you need to sleep) can't reach your brain.

Because caffeine blocks the adenosine receptors and tells you, you're not tired.
But after caffeine leaves—your brain is hit with a massive wave of adenosine making you feel sleepy.

Scientists call it Caffeine Crash.

But most people (including me) solve this problem by drinking more caffeine—which makes things worse.

So how can you get rid of adenosine?
Sleeping is the only way you can get rid of adenosine.

But if you drink caffeine before you sleep—your body can't get through all of the adenosine it has built up.

Because your body is still trying to get rid of the caffeine in your system.
I used to be one of the people who would always say:

"I could drink coffee and fall asleep without any problems."

But caffeine reduces your deep sleep by 20%.

You have to be 15 years older than you should be to decrease deep sleep by 20%.
Is de-caffeinated coffee the answer?

A misconception I had before:

De-caffeinated coffee = zero caffeine

But De-caffeinated coffee still has 30% caffeine. Image
But you don't need to quit caffeine forever (or 3 months like me).

You just need to consume caffeine correctly.

Here's how to do it (properly):
Drinking Coffee (the right way):

100-400mg in the morning (9-11 a.m.) is the ideal time and dosage.

That's the same as having 6 cups of espresso or 4 brewed coffees
You should avoid caffeine (coffee) if you suffer from anxiety, bad sleep, or digestive issues

But caffeine isn't all bad:
If you want to improve your:

• Focus
• Workouts
• Concentration
Then drinking coffee is amazing.

Just make sure that you have it 10-14 hours before you sleep.
Finally if drinking coffee makes you anxious and groggy in the morning, then it might be a sign to cut back on caffeine consumption.

My first cup of coffee after the 3 months felt like I wasn't myself.

The increase in focus and attention was surreal.

You forget how effective coffee is.

If you're feeling depressed, anxious, lost in life, or feel like you have no place in this world…

Start writing.

It changed my life. My only regret is not starting sooner.

Here's why you should start writing (and create a life that's meaningful and brings you fulfillment): Image
1) Writing Helps You Think Better

The first step to getting what you want is making better decisions.

You make better decisions when you think better.

You think better when you write more.

You don't need to be a professional writer to get the benefits of writing.
2) Writing is How You Become Aware of Your Problems.

You can't solve problems that you don't know exists.

But when you write about your thoughts, you start questioning the years of unconscious programming that has been done to you.

Here's how you can become aware of them:

The world's greatest music producer:

Rick Rubin.

He's the genius behind Jay Z, Eminem, & Kanye's greatest songs.

But he doesn't know anything about music and is $300 million.

His 7 lessons on becoming a creative genius (even if you're not one): Image
"I have no technical ability and I know nothing about music"

The internet made traditional education outdated.

Creative people are the best when it comes to intuition—the traditional educational system only numbs your genius.

Creativity ≠ productivity machine.
“Creativity is not a rare ability. Creativity is a fundamental aspect of being human. It’s our birthright. And it’s for all of us”

In the 1960s NASA tested 1,600 kids aged 5. 98% scored "genius level".

But when they were 20, 2% were "genius level".

Society is dumbing you down. Image

You've been lied to.

ADHD isn't a mental disease you can cure by taking pills.

It's a superpower.

Once you harness it, you'll become unstoppable.

Here's what you can do to turn ADHD into a superpower: Image
20% of students worldwide have ADHD.

15.5 million adults in the U.S. have ADHD.

But what is ADHD?

It's a neurodevelopmental disorder—making it hard for you to focus and always zone out.
When you have ADHD as a kid, adults would tell you that you're gifted, smart, and have potential.

But you're wasting it by being lazy, selfish, or lacking discipline.

However that's not the case.

They don't know that your brain is wired differently...

I'm 23.

Stress, anxiety, and depression controlled me my entire life.

But then I discovered Sigmund Freud and his work changed my life forever.

Here are his 7 lessons for eternal happiness: Image
"Dreams are often most profound when they seem the most crazy"

"Crazy" people are the ones who are alive.

Normal people aren't interesting—go to school. Get a job. A mortgage. Retire at 65.

Be crazy enough to believe in a dream.

Break it down into small steps. Execute daily.
“Out of your vulnerabilities will come your strength.”

Most people are controlled by their fears. They're enslaved by it.

But once you own your truth, the truth that you don't like, you become free.

Most people won't understand you, but those who matter will.

The man who can print money on demand:

Seth Godin.

It's impossible to not succeed in business after these lessons.

Here are his 8 most powerful lessons to (almost) print money on demand: Image
"Marketing is no longer about the stuff you make, but about the stories you tell.”

People are emotional. They buy with emotions and justify with logic.

Brands like Nike, Apple, and Dinsey have a cult-like following because of the stories they tell.

Sell stories, not products.
Survive The Dip.

When you start, everything is exciting, you're having fun.

But after a few months, you start to realize that things are harder than you expected.

That's where most people quit.

But if you survive the dip, you'll find the results you were looking for. Image

Depression, anxiety, and overthinking controlled me my entire life.

Here's his 8-step process for living a better life: Image
Take Responsibility.

I used to try to avoid responsibilities, but it just made me feel lost in life.

Meaning and purpose come from voluntarily taking on more responsibility.

This isn't about suffering, it's about building a character.
Be Friends With Someone Who Wants The Best For You.

Most of the people around you aren't your friends.

They're with you cuz everything is going smoothly.

But when things get rough, they'll leave.

So how do you know if your friends want the best for you?
