The most used, abused, and unsupervised drug in the world.

Caffeine.

It is the reason why you feel tired every time you wake up.

Here's why coffee is so dangerous and how to drink it properly (backed by science): Image
Image
For the past 10 years I would drink 3-5 cups of coffee daily.

3 months ago I went caffeine-free. It was hard at first but the rewards were worth it.

• Clear thinking
• No more anxiety
• No afternoon crashes

So what changed my mind?
In the 1980s NASA did a study on spiders.

They exposed them to caffeine, LSD, weed, and speed—then they saw how spiders built their webs.

Caffeine was by far the worst drug. Image
My entire life I woke up feeling tired, anxious, and groggy.

For a long time I didn't know the reason.

But recently I discovered it was because of the time caffeine lasts in your body…
Caffeine's effect lasts 4 hours—but it stays in your body for a total of 10-12 hours.

Adenosine (the chemical that says you need to sleep) can't reach your brain.

Because caffeine blocks the adenosine receptors and tells you, you're not tired.
But after caffeine leaves—your brain is hit with a massive wave of adenosine making you feel sleepy.

Scientists call it Caffeine Crash.

But most people (including me) solve this problem by drinking more caffeine—which makes things worse.

So how can you get rid of adenosine?
Sleeping is the only way you can get rid of adenosine.

But if you drink caffeine before you sleep—your body can't get through all of the adenosine it has built up.

Because your body is still trying to get rid of the caffeine in your system.
I used to be one of the people who would always say:

"I could drink coffee and fall asleep without any problems."

But caffeine reduces your deep sleep by 20%.

You have to be 15 years older than you should be to decrease deep sleep by 20%.
Is de-caffeinated coffee the answer?

A misconception I had before:

De-caffeinated coffee = zero caffeine

But De-caffeinated coffee still has 30% caffeine. Image
But you don't need to quit caffeine forever (or 3 months like me).

You just need to consume caffeine correctly.

Here's how to do it (properly):
Drinking Coffee (the right way):

100-400mg in the morning (9-11 a.m.) is the ideal time and dosage.

That's the same as having 6 cups of espresso or 4 brewed coffees
You should avoid caffeine (coffee) if you suffer from anxiety, bad sleep, or digestive issues

But caffeine isn't all bad:
If you want to improve your:

• Focus
• Workouts
• Concentration
Then drinking coffee is amazing.

Just make sure that you have it 10-14 hours before you sleep.
Finally if drinking coffee makes you anxious and groggy in the morning, then it might be a sign to cut back on caffeine consumption.

My first cup of coffee after the 3 months felt like I wasn't myself.

The increase in focus and attention was surreal.

You forget how effective coffee is.

Cardiovascular health is the best predictor of living a long healthy life.

Here are 2 dead-simple ways to improve your cardiovascular health (based on science): Image
2 years ago I started running. At first I felt getting stabbed every time I ran for more than 5 minutes. I hated it.

But I stayed consistent and ran 1,000+ miles and the benefits are worth it.

• Less anxiety
• Better mood
• Better mental health

So what changed my mind?
In 2015 MIT studied 50,000 people.

What they saw:

• Your ability to process information declines at 19
• Your fluid intelligence (IQ) starts to decline at 25
• Your memory starts to decline at age 35

But exercise prevents it. Here's another study that saw similar results: Image

Naval Ravikant shocked Silicon Valley:

He turned down billions in VC money, lived like a monk, and built a $600M fortune using ONE controversial philosophy.

The elite called him crazy until they saw his results.

Hard Work Is Overrated.

Getting rich isn't about how hard you work—it's about what you do, how you do it, and when to do it.

If you don't know what to do, that's the first thing you should figure out.

The last thing you want is to spend 15 years grinding in a career you hate.
Money is not wealth. Money is how we transfer wealth.

Wealth is assets that make money while you sleep.

• House you own
• Software that's serving millions
• Money that is being reinvested in other assets
• Content that brings customers to your business

Gary grew up poor in a council estate in, East London.

Parents worked multiple jobs just to get by.

No financial privilege, just raw mathematical talent.

He got lucky and got a scholarship to an elite economics school—the London School of Economics.
In his final year, Gary heard Citi Bank hires you if you win in a card game—it's called The Trading Game.

Students all around the country joined. All of them are math geniuses from wealthy families.

But Gary won…

I'm 23.

Chronic anxiety, self-doubt and overthinking controlled me my entire life.

But then I discovered Jordan Peterson and his Harvard lectures and it changed my life.

7 lessons I learned from Jordan Peterson that changed my life (and might change yours too): Image
1) The self-awareness trap.

Research shows, the more you think about yourself, the more miserable you become, to the point that they're statistically indistinguishable.

We're wired to be social, not to be individualistic.

The solution?
Turn your focus outwards, not inwards.

Shift your attention and focus to others and problems worth solving.

I became happiest when I started writing online, creating, building, and helping others.

There's no better feeling than knowing you're competent and useful to others.

If you're feeling depressed, anxious, lost in life, or feel like you have no place in this world…

Start writing.

It changed my life. My only regret is not starting sooner.

Here's why you should start writing (and create a life that's meaningful and brings you fulfillment): Image
1) Writing Helps You Think Better

The first step to getting what you want is making better decisions.

You make better decisions when you think better.

You think better when you write more.

You don't need to be a professional writer to get the benefits of writing.
2) Writing is How You Become Aware of Your Problems.

You can't solve problems that you don't know exists.

But when you write about your thoughts, you start questioning the years of unconscious programming that has been done to you.

Here's how you can become aware of them:

The world's greatest music producer:

Rick Rubin.

He's the genius behind Jay Z, Eminem, & Kanye's greatest songs.

But he doesn't know anything about music and is $300 million.

His 7 lessons on becoming a creative genius (even if you're not one): Image
"I have no technical ability and I know nothing about music"

The internet made traditional education outdated.

Creative people are the best when it comes to intuition—the traditional educational system only numbs your genius.

Creativity ≠ productivity machine.
“Creativity is not a rare ability. Creativity is a fundamental aspect of being human. It’s our birthright. And it’s for all of us”

In the 1960s NASA tested 1,600 kids aged 5. 98% scored "genius level".

But when they were 20, 2% were "genius level".

Society is dumbing you down. Image
