@SpaceX Starship’s fifth flight test lifted off on October 13, 2024, with our most ambitious test objectives yet as we work to demonstrate techniques fundamental to Starship and Super Heavy’s fully and rapidly reusable design.
Do you think he did this? He’s not an engineer. He hired people who did this

Why don't you go to the bank, take out a loan, and hire some people to build spaceships?

@SpaceX @FAANews Elon crunching the cost to manufacture a rocket in a spreadsheet during a plane ride in 2002 and realizing SpaceX could do it at 1/50th the cost is the most productive use of a spreadsheet on a plane ride ever

@SpaceX @FAANews 6 thoughts on "Elon Musk" by Walter Isaacson
Including the Twitter deal, SpaceX's "Idiot Index", the manufacturing "algorithm", management style and Big Tech beefs (Bill Gates, Larry Page, Jeff Bezos).
@SpaceX @FAANews I’m equal parts blown away by what @SpaceX accomplished this morning but also with THIS LIVE 4K PRODUCTION the Everyday Astronaut / @considercosmos team produced!

The goal of the test is to get further along than IFT-4 in June, 2024. If all goes well, Starship will re-enter in the Indian Ocean
this will be the first time SpaceX will be attempting to catch the Super Heavy booster with the launch tower!
There are certainly other factors at play, but heavy use of c-sections allows for a larger brain, as brain size has historically been limited by birth canal diameter
