Ukraine war updates:

Russian forces in Kursk have made significant advances and cut deep into Ukrainian-controlled areas. As a result of the rapid push, a large sector in the northwest of the incursion is now contested.

Russia has continued its advance west of Pishchane and split Ukrainian control on the east bank of the Oskil River in two by cutting the road linking the north and south.

Russia has pushed to the north of the settlement of Nevs'ke and continued to consolidate control of the territory to both its northeast and southeast.

Russia has continued to make advances south of the city of Pokrovsk. They have advanced west to into Lysivka and have increased pressure on Selydove from the north.

Russia has advanced west from Ukrains'k taking control of most of Tsukuryne, and has also taken positions along the rail line north of the settlement.

Russia has expanded its control along the canal south of Chasiv Yar from which it has launched attacks towards the southern outskirts of the town.

Russian forces advancing west of Nevske and Terny have reached and taken Katerynivka as well as positions along the Ukrainian fortification line in the area. Image
In Zaporizhzhia, Russia has taken the settlement of Lobkove after the recent capture of Stepove and Mali Shcherbaky. A Ukrainian counterattack into Shcherbaky has prevented its capture so far. Image

A new Ukrainian incursion has entered the settlements of Demidovka and Popovka in Belgorod oblast, directly south of the previous Ukrainian offensive into Kursk. Image
In Kursk, Russia continues to secure areas of the grey zone after the recent withdrawal of Ukrainian forces from the area. They have crossed the border into Zhuravka and have taken positions in Basivka. Image
Ukraine have retaken further positions southwest of the city of Toretsk, contesting Nelipivka. Meanwhile, Russia has secured positions to the east within Druzhba, and along the canal to Chasiv Yar. Image

In Kursk, Russia has taken back full control of Sverdlikovo, one of the first positions to be captured by Ukraine at the start of the Kursk incursion. Meanwhile, Ukraine has retaken positions south of Russkoe Porechnoe. Image
In Kharkiv, new Russian positions have been confirmed on the west bank of the Oskil, this time further north, near the settlement of Topoli, right on the border. Image
Russia has also continued advances around Velyka Novosilka, most notably they have crossed the river into the settlement of Novoocheretuvate, north of a Ukrainian set of fortified positions. Russia has also advanced further to the west where they have reached Novosilka. Image

In Kharkiv, Russia has significantly expanded its positions on the western bank of the Oskil River. They have taken positions both north and south of the previous area of control in Dvorichna. Image

Russia has continued retaking lost areas of Kursk. Pogrebki is again contested. Further east, Russia has retaken control of Russskoye Porechnoye. Image
Russia has again continued to advance past the south of Pokrovsk. They are also pushing northwest from their positions to wrap around the city's western flank. This will gradually make supplying the city more challenging and allow for the city to be taken more easily. Image
Russia has also initiated attacks in the past two weeks on the east flank of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad. Image
