Russia has continued to diminish Ukrainian control within the Kursk region, crossing the Snagost’ River into Dar’ino and repelling last week’s Ukrainian attempt to hold the line at Novoivanovka. Ukraine war updates:

Russian forces in Kursk have made significant advances and cut deep into Ukrainian-controlled areas. As a result of the rapid push, a large sector in the northwest of the incursion is now contested.

In September, Russia expanded its control in Ukraine by approximately 467.7 km², the largest monthly gain for Russia since March 2022.

They also retook control of approximately 125.9 km² of the territory in Kursk Oblast seized by Ukraine last month, for a total net Russian gain of 593.6 km².

In August, Russia expanded its control in Ukraine by approximately 350 km², marking the largest monthly gain for Russia since August 2022.

Ukraine map update:

While attention has been on the unexpected 🇺🇦 advances in Kursk, 🇷🇺 advances across the line have continued within 🇺🇦.

🇷🇺 advances along the rail line between Avdiivka and Pokrovsk have continued for another week. Image 🇷🇺 has also gained ground within, as well as south of, Kostyantynivka. Most of the highway to Vuhledar is now contested space. Image

East of Toretsk, the 🇷🇺 breakthrough has continued to expand. Most of Zalizne, Pivnichne, and Niu-York are now under 🇷🇺 control.

The Ukrainian-aligned, anti-Kremlin Russian forces have carried out a series of attacks on Belgorod and Kursk Oblasts over the past 2 weeks.

🇷🇺 has advanced further into the settlement of Ivanivske, west of Bakhmut. They have taken positions along the main road through the settlement that goes between Bakhmut and Chasiv Yar. Russia has continued its heavy attacks on the flanks of Avdiivka, successfully advancing near Pervomaiske.

Last week, President Zelenskyy visited the city, recording a video in the open, less than 2km from the nearest Russian positions.

Over the month of November, Russia expanded the territory it controls in Ukraine by approximately 4 km².

This marks the smallest net change in control over a single month since the February 2022 invasion.

Currently, Russia occupies a total of 17.48% of Ukraine.

Ukraine update for the past 10 days:

For the first time, 🇺🇦 has successfully gained control of territory located behind the 2014 frontline.

This notable advance occurred west of Horlivka, where the line has remained unchanged since before the start of the 2022 invasion. Image In the vicinity of Avdiivka, 🇷🇺 has advanced across the rail line in the north, posing a threat to Ukrainian supply lines to the city. Additionally, 🇷🇺 has made gains to the southeast.
