1/ It seems out of line to offer a ranking of genocidal events, but what Israel is doing in northern Gaza and particularly in Jaballiya seems to me like the most awful and depraved of all the crimes Israel has committed throughout this year. Proof of depravity? --->
2/ Jaballiya does not exist in Israeli media, and very little of the horror comes to light in the prominent channels of western media. What is reported is innundated with provisos and disclaimers like "Palestinians allege". Stated reason? Israel has shut off communication. --->
3/ Real reason? The line has been drawn. The massacre is so relentless, so brutal, so diverse in method (from starvation to indiscriminate shooting), that there is no way to justify it any longer. If it cannot be justified then one can only assume it does not exist. --->
4/ In "Life, the universe and everything", the third book of the Hitchiker's guide to the galaxy trilogy, Douglas Adams invented the perfect cloaking device: the SEP (Somebody Else's Problem) field: Image
5/ In the book, the SEP field perfectly cloaks a huge spaceship in the middle of Lord's cricket ground. Jaballiya is covered by an SEP field. What is happening there is so horrible that it cannot "be" our concern. Jaballiya is where the west adopts Israeli murderous solipsism.

1/ Israel has apparently killed the leader of Hamas, Yahya Sinwar. The main importance of this assassination is that in a war with no endgame on the Israeli side the deaths of "villains" were the main and only chartable achievement of this genocidal campaign. --->
2/ The attempt to annihilate Jeballiya, the ongoing massacre of the last two weeks, these fit in better with the Israeli doctrine of "We kill bad guys; get in the way and suffer the consequences" than with the notorious Eiland Plan. Death remains our only benchmark. --->
3/ Israel began bombing a year ago motivated by revenge and by murderous solipsism. "They deserve it for starting. We can't live if they are living here". The only measure of success for a murderous solipsist is death (and destruction). "They" really are not real. --->

1/ There's a symbiosis between Israel's penchant for "sending messages" ("this attack is a message to... we can go farther!") and the intensity of Israeli censorship over everything from northern Gaza to ground operations in Lebanon. Both protect our solipsistic sphere. --->
2/ Sending messages is the opposite of communication. It demonstrates a complete lack of care or even awareness of the other side. Think about a 10 minute long unsolicitied vocal messages on whatsapp. Israel does not need or want to be understood. It wants to be alone. --->
3/ Israelis support the forever war but know very little about its progress. We support the horrors and the crimes, but we have no idea what they claim to achieve, where the end or even what's the plan. We don't know what has been happening on our border with Lebanon. --->

1/ Another shooting attack carried out by Palestinians inside Israel (not in the West Bank) demonstrates yet again Israel's precarious condition. Those who speak of a "Greater Israel" should realize that Israel is shrinking on a daily basis. --->
2/ The entire country under potential fire, be it from the West Bank , Yemen, Hizballah or Hamas (and obviously Iran). The beleaguered north has advanced south, all the way to Haifa. The south is still under various threats, including Israel's own incessant bombing. --->
3/ Israel is declaring its conditions for stopping the war in Lebanon. They basically mean that Israel has the right to start a war again whenever it wants, to attack whomever it chooses and to violate Lebanese sovereignty permanently. Same goes for Gaza. --->

1/ When I say Israel has no plan underpinning its genocide in Gaza, people consider my words an attempt at defending or ameliorating the effects or genuineness of the genocide. It is actually the other way around. The lack of a plan makes this genocide unprecedented. --->
2/ Israel most depraved audacity is its sense that no plan is necessary because we can (and must; everything we can we also must) do anything we want to do in order to "defend" ourselves and that our "defense" consists of their collapse/subjagation/death (in any order). --->
3/ The only plans we have are tactical protocols. The IDF's greatest technological achievement is an ever-expanding "target bank", now produced by algorithm. We assassinate "leaders" and "operatives". We are the sole authority allowed to define who these bad guys are. --->
