This is going to get…perhaps complex. But I want you to see the big picture.

So stay with me.
This is is the Eurasian Economic Union:

It currently consists of 5 countries

- Russia
- Belarus
- Kyrgyzstan
- Kazakhstan
- Armenia

And if you hadn’t notice me things have been spicy with all these countries.

We can start with Armenia 🇦🇲. Regardless on thoughts about who was at fault between Armenia and Azerbaijan, one thing was clear, the CSTO was useless.

Because when Armenia called for help, Russia did not answer.

The CSTO currently has 6 countries in it, all the 5 countries in the Eurasian Economic Union PLUS Tajikistan.

You can see here the moment in November 2022 when 🇦🇲 Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinya refused to sign a declaration.

Things have deteriorated since
You’re going to see a trend of Russia trying to use force to try to hold things together, and any other means, but usually not good ones.

Armenia was pissed at Russia (for good reason.)

Then Nancy Pelosi went to Armenia, there were American Flags everywhere

Armenia participated in military exercises with U.S. and the Russian government “coincidentally” decided to ban the import of carrot seeds from Armenia.
Russia tried to start up a propaganda war. Armenia banned a bunch of this

Well all of this cause Russian State Media propagandist to be triggered.

Remember: He’s paid BY THE RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT to say this stuff.

It’s not just one guy shouting his opinions, it’s ultimately a statement by the Russian government

Because…
Here he is yelling about Armenia making decisions about what military alliances Armenia wants to participate in.

Because Russia wants to rebuild its empire.

Then he decided to belittle Armenia
Note: The situation with Agriculture in Russia has not improved!
And Russia has banned the import of a lot of food from a LOT of countries.
He made it clear the Russia only cares about Russia

It seems pretty blunt
He insulted Nikol Pashinyan

And also bluntly declared that the Prime Minister of Armenia was an enemy of Russia!
Which seems like it would be problematic, since Nikol Pashinyan 🇦🇲 is currently the Chairman of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.

Things haven’t stopped as the relationship between Russian & Armenia continues to degrade.

Pashinyan 🇦🇲 & Lukashenko 🇧🇾 got into a fight. The are only 5 countries in the Eurasian Economic Union.

Russia banned fruits & vegetables from Armenia. They also went after Armenian Cognac
Armenia continued to kick out Russian troops.
This is just a BRIEF overview of the problems Russia is having with Armenia.

Russian Coal is in a really tough spot at the moment, which is something I discussed in detail here.
But it’s also worth noting that Russian Railways, a monopoly that has only one shareholder (the Russian Government), has been in negotiations to increase prices.

It’s possible that what we’re going to be discussing is just a negotiation tactic.

As things deteriorate in Russia, they are either scooping up the migrants and pressing them into the military, banning them from certain working jobs, and/or just deporting them. The treatment of migrants is abysmal.
