I look at a LOT of Russian news from Russian news sources. And I’ve got to tell you that I don’t see ANYTHING optimistic.

The Russian government is looking for ways to get more income to fund the war, so they’re taxing increasingly more things. This in turn makes businesses unprofitable. The government seems to help the businesses they shouldn’t while over taxing the ones they should help

I am actively LOOKING for a positive horizon in the economy for Russia & I CAN’T find one.

Buckle in, because it’s really bad news. It is really important that you read the build up to this bad news for you to REALLY appreciate how bad it is.

Pease make sure read this👇 and ALL of the linked threads Especially this one. Read ALL OF IT. It’s long. Don’t worry, it’s not hard reading. I make it really simple to understand. You can see Russia make a lot of bad choices.

Remember, you can bookmark these things and read them when you have time.

‼️ Russian Railway Update:

“IPEM estimated budget losses from infrastructure restrictions at 2.8 trillion rubles per year”

Bottlenecks in Russian rail infrastructure are just one of multiple issues.

Be prepared for lot of references in this thread.
Image First, if you have not yet read it, I highly recommend reading this long thread that details a good overall picture of the state of the railways.

It is especially focused on the state of the locomotives themselves but it explains why this situation is getting worse.

‼️ Russian Railway Update 🧵

If you’ve read this thread you’ll know that Russian has been shipping things by train all the way out to the pacific cost ports and back again because (among other things) of the issues with Houthis

And that has been causing so issues… Now it appears that CHINA has increased shipping things all the way to the EU via railway. Which may cause more traffic issues. 🤔

We need to look at this to really understand what sort of impact this might have.

First, China shipped this way before the conflict. It’s faster. Image

“The State Duma called for stopping pizza sales and returning [to] pies”

Is this to cover for foreign companies (and people) leaving?

Image According to Alexey Govyrin, a member of the State Duma Committee on Small and Medium Enterprises, “Deputies proposed developing “culinary patriotism” and opening pancake, pie and other Russian catering establishments” Image

I just saw someone had written something ridiculous that used big words to make it seem like something was really complex when it is incredibly easy to understand.

So here is a simple explanation of the Ukrainian Drone strikes effect on Russian Refineries This is a GENERIC refinery process diagram. Some refineries have duplicate units some refineries don’t have all of these units but is a generic one to show how the process works

We’re focusing on the red box…

🚨 Russian Elites believe they’ll be saved by a DITCH! 🚨

Is it possible that there is something lost in translation?

But I like it better this way 😂

“Russian officials are buying up church lands to save themselves “during the apocalypse”” Image “High-ranking Russian officials and businessmen close to the Kremlin are buying up land in the Diveyevo Monastery in the Nizhny Novgorod region, where they expect to find “salvation during the apocalypse,””

Okey Dokey Image

Who wants another thread with sources on how things are bad in Russia?!

Let me know and then bookmark this tweet for later so you can find it if/when I write it! Buckle in, we’re going on an adventure!

Be prepared:

1. This is going to be more specific than the long one

2. This may not end where you think it will. (Honestly, these threads have a life their own, there’s a good chance it doesn’t end where I think it will)

The below video from Jan. 2023 shows Russian propagandists call for a holy war against “Satanists” in the West:

“Muslims still live in these European countries where this is happening, we don’t see any rallies, we don’t see Muslims bringing people to account”

~ Apti Alaudinov

They have tried again & again tried to stir religious fervor and hatred.

“Kommersant learned about the doubling of the number of locomotives put aside from traffic in a year”

🍿 Oh Dear……

Image Ok, I have to point out that this really a little more coverage of the data that was covered previously.

I want to go back to some original sources, and put together a fuller picture of what I *think* is happening here.

What’s going wrong and why? Buckle in, because there’s going to be a lot!

(Maybe bookmark this because it will probably be a good resource) Image What has triggered this thread?

The results of a survey of Russian doctors was recently released. I have a few articles on it. And I thought it would be a good idea to review the causes of issues mentioned & more.

‼️Update THREAD

There have been a few Russian language articles that have come out related to this. I know I have several followers that are interested in what happened here that are also knowledgeable in the area so I wanted to at a minimum be able point people to them.

1/ So I’m going to do a thread. Keep in mind that this is Russia & Russia lies. Evaluate claims accordingly.

First this article from Forbes Russia is rather detail heavy. So if you’re in this field this might be worth a read.

I need to point out what is VERY INTERESTING ABOUTH THIS.

Forbes Russia:

“Before the spring sowing season, the Astrakhan and Volgograd regions complained about a shortage of imported seeds”

And we’re talking BIG SHORTAGES
🧅🥕🍅 Image Russia does not produce enough seeds domestically, they are imported.

They at least produce SOME, unlike hatching eggs. Which seems insane for a country as big as Russia…the biggest country on earth.

“The government demanded that all those who left Russia be put on mandatory registration”

*sigh* what are they doing now…
Image “Russian authorities are preparing to tighten control over emigrant citizens, the number of whom has broken records for more than 100 years since the start of the war with Ukraine.

For Russians living abroad, mandatory consular registration will be introduced from mid-2025.” Image

Remember when Russians signed “short-term” contracts with MoD then part of “partial mobilization” was their contracts being extended indefinitely?

Well now, if you signed with a PMC to avoid the MoD they say you have to join the MoD.

Yes, there are more than just Wagner. Prigozhin says no, Wagner will not sign contracts with MoD

This whole thing is an example of many of the things I’ve been predicting. Companies now have an extreme amount of control over their employees because the alternative might be mobilization

☕️ Here is the problem. Many Republicans are being programmed to believe that these cases against their politicians are frivolous.

Like when McDonald’s was sued for the hot coffee in the lap incident. Except THAT lawsuit wasn’t frivolous. She was in the hospital for 8 Days! Image A 79 year old woman having to get skin grafts, 8 days in the hospital, and 2 years of treatment is not frivolous.

But they all convinced us it was because we didn’t know the details. This is the same thing. It’s the McDonald’s Coffee incident.…

‼️Russia has lied blatantly during UN Security Councils before. I will prove it to you and provide sources.

Where: UN Security Council during the 9280th meeting

Who: Mr. Nebenzia [🇷🇺 Representative]… At the UNSC Meeting, Mr. Timothy Snyder (@TimothyDSnyder). was invited to speak. It was an excellent speech, I recommend reading or watching it.
