1/Uncomfortable truth: the election won't fix this. The gambit being waged by Musk, Putin, and friends is designed to destroy the United States. And that WILL happen unless we quickly arrest its progress. Here is what we need to do to block their plan.
2/Obviously, if Trump wins it's game over. Vance will end up in charge, working for Musk, Thiel, and Putin. They will dismantle the United States, limb by limb. That in turn will lead to instability, unrest, and God knows what. That is Plan A.
3/If Trump loses, they will deny the loss. That is Plan B. As we all know, myriad strategies are in place to override and question the election outcome, potentially kicking it to the corrupt Supreme Court or to the House. That will also lead to instability and unrest.
4/Suppose Harris is inaugurated Jan 20, we have (at least) three major problems to deal with: Musk, crypto capture, and the debt ceiling. We need a DOJ that can prosecute Musk. We need to decide what to do about X, Starlink, and SpaceX (pro move: nationalize them).
5/Crypto interests have spent at least $200mm so far in this election cycle — outspending Musk and Big Oil. Meanwhile, the Harris team is cozying up to crypto interests. This is not the way. Musk and Thiel know that if left unchecked, they will win via crypto capture.
6/The debt ceiling comes up again on January 2, 2025. If we don't deal with it, the US will default. This will cause a massive financial meltdown. Musk is calling for default. So is Sergey Glazyev, the architect of the new BRICS currency. They are aligned.
7/We don't know who will control the House and Senate, but unless Dems have at least one of them (and can withstand the single vote motion to vacate the speaker), we are well and truly f*cked. So yes, while it's necessary for Harris to win to avoid meltdown, it is not sufficient.
8/And there is no guarantee Harris will deal with this, because of institutional inertia, capture, and corrosion from crypto interests. This is why Musk is acting with total impunity. He knows no matter what happens they have a path through — and he's backed by Putin's nukes.
9/You may also remember Charles McGonigal — the corrupt counterintelligence officer caught accepting bribes from a Putin crony. Bluntly: he's the one that got caught. The poster child. You think there aren't more? How many times a day do people ask why "nothing is happening?"
10/So, to be blunt: either deal with Musk, crypto, and the debt ceiling now, or face the consequences later. There is no happy middle ground where things go "back to normal." This is the decision point. If we don't stop Musk now, we're not a serious country and can't be saved.

1/We already killed Wildcat Banking once, in 1863. We’re going to have to do it again with crypto. Will we have the courage? Or will we succumb to capture? I have doubts.
2/Crypto interests have already pumped in more than $200mm into this election cycle, to own candidates of both parties; more than Musk, more than big oil. All aimed at killing the dollar. And the Dems don’t understand the threat yet.
3/There is no room for accommodation, just as there was no room for Wildcat Banking. If you want to have the dollar, defend the dollar. And kill things that are trying to displace and destroy it. There is no happy medium that accommodates gambling and Ponzi schemes. Burn it. 🔥
1/Notable that Musk met with Murdoch just before he got shanked by the WSJ. Was that a coincidence? Who knows. But it likely suggests a degree of editorial independence at WSJ. Hard to imagine Murdoch jeopardizing their shared project at this late hour.
2/Similarly, folks are realizing that Tesla’s stock price makes no sense. It is absurdly overinflated. As this analyst notes, $820bn valuation on $2bn cash flow is just insane. Is the stock propped up by Saudi, Chinese, and Russian whales, to give Elon more leverage? Maybe,
3/Likewise, what on EARTH has driven up Trump’s Truth Social stock? This isn’t a business. It’s a money laundering project. Millions in losses on a minuscule amount of revenue, Devin f*ing Nunes as CEO, nothing about this is remotely real. Yet *someone* is throwing money into it.
1/It’s unacceptable that @TheJusticeDept is sitting on this list of ~600 US Russian assets, some of whom are sitting members of Congress, in the run-up to an election. This is gaslighting and it has to stop.
2/From the Doppelgänger indictment, September 4, 2024.
3/The 1,900 people being tracked by the Russian state as “anti-influencers” deserve to know they are being targeted by a hostile foreign power as well. They should all be notified privately they are on this list. They can choose whether to publicize that fact.

The clear consensus is that Musk is conducting illegal vote buying. He should be charged with that crime. If the government can’t prove the case, he will go free. But first, charge him. The evidence is overwhelming.
Or is it a sad fact that Doing Anything in today’s DOJ takes so long that criminals like Musk know they have a time window of complete immunity before facing any consequences? And they won’t face any if they can buy an election. Seems that’s where we are.
If someone who wasn’t otherwise registered is induced to register and sign his pledge because of payment or chance of reward, that would by any common sense measure violate all of the existing laws. All they would have to do is prove one case of that.
1/Looking increasingly like Musk is setting up the option to pursue a Russia-backed TEXIT strategy. One possible scenario is to spark a deep rift (over the election, perhaps), have Texas secede, but also claim the mantle of “the real America.”
3/Steady drumbeat of this crap from Musk and his proxies over the last year. Promises to “Fight for America,” while basing all his assets in Texas and doing his best to capture government there. Pay attention.
