These diseases not only decrease the quality of life for the individual, but they also put a financial burden on the person due to the healthcare of managing the disease.
But why such an increase in rates over the last 20-30 years?
And why this prevalence of multiple conditions?
Working with my own patients, I believe there are several key reasons.
Even in a recent randomized controlled study, it was shown that there is about a 30% reduction in autoimmune diseases with just 2 key nutrients, versus the placebo alone.
Why isn't this plastered all over the news!?
I'll tell you why:
They are inexpensive solutions that address some of the root causes in autoimmune diseases, and there is not enough money to be made because nutrients are not able to be patented.
That's the sad reality.

Often food companies will fortify foods. Essentially adding extra nutrients to foods.
On the surface, it sounds healthy.
Initially, in the 1920’s the practice was initiated to promote health.
However, nowadays you need to be aware with many products.

There are often 2 primary reasons many food products are fortified with added nutrients.
#1 Reason
The foods have been stripped of their nutrition and need to have them added (fortified) back in to make the food healthier.
#2 Reason
The food doesn’t have enough nutritional value in the first place, so government organizations make the food companies fortify the product with nutrients.
In both scenarios, these are not foods you ideally do not want to consume.
What I aim to do is show you the MANY benefits of this simple habit, and with overwhelming proof hopefully influence you to begin taking up the habit daily to better your life.
