According to planning docs "Beechlawn Guest House" was to be developed by HLK Developments which is owned by Brendan Delaney who was featured in the Paradise Papers & businessman Harry Parkinson.
Its sole director is Damien Fitzimons.
The registered address of HLK Development is also oddly enough "Beechlawn Guest House" itslelf...🤔
Dublin HQ
In fact there are over 15 companies all registered at Beechlawn Guest House!
Each of which lists either Patrick Flanagan or Derek Scully as directors.
Many of these companies have multi million euro contracts with the Dept. of Children to house refugees.
State Contracts
Codelix Limited,
Kyraview Limited,
Shakeview Limited &
Coziq Enterprises are making almost ~€10m a year. 😳
The shareholders of these companies are
Daniel Bateman 80% &
Sandra O'Neill 20%
Super Directors
InterestinglyPatrick Flanagan & Derek Scully are both involved with the Swift Hotel Group in Cork.
Flanagan is a director of the controversial Swiftcastle Roscrea which received €1.5m in Q2
The registered address of this company is Quality Hotel Youghal.
Cork HQ
In fact there are another ~10 companies connected to both Derek Scully & Patrick Flanagan each registered in Quality Hotel, Youghal.
Each also owned by either Allen McEnery, Daniel Bateman, Sandra O'Neill & others.
🤠 🤯
Swift Hotel Group
The Swift Hotel group is largely operated by its GM Allen McEnery.
The parent company is called Heronwell ULC which received a ~€7,000,000 from the Dept. of Children in Q2 alone 🤯
Small World
Interestingly Heronwell uses McGahon & Associates as its law firm.
Its managing partner, Maximilian McGahon, looks to be a close relation &/or number 1 fan of Fine Gael Senator John McGahon who was ordered to pay €39k for battering a local farmer
(..also fond of a twix!)
Rainmaker
But most interestingly of all, the 99% Shareholder of Heronwell is the mysterious Daniel Bateman who lists his personal address at Beechlawn Guest House ! ! !
I have no further information on Bateman - but the connections here are insane.
There are people online with the same name but none look likely candidates.
Opinion & Analysis
When you add everything up, there is over €50,000,000+ a year going to this web of companies.
The companies are operating on 50% to 70% profit margins. Most of which are controlled by Daniel Bateman.
The fact that Nial Collins TD, the Minister of State for further education & skills has personally supported an application for this group in Dublin's North Inner City is nothing short of alarming. 🚨 🚨
It tells you all you need to know about this Govt. intent & involvement in the Immigration Industrial Complex.
They are hand and glove.
It must be said nothing here is illegal - (apart from maybe the works done to Beechlawn house😅!)
This whole web of companies has taken me days to untangle. I'm sure there is much that I have missed or maybe gotten wrong. There is likely A LOT more to all this that I haven't picked up.
But what is worrying is the fact that no mainstream newspaper has picked this up or will bother to in the future.
This election is soo important, we cannot allow another 4 years of this carry-on to continue.
I'm doing my best. But I encourage others to get out there and let people know. Spread the word.
Support your local candidate who is calling this out loudly.
A GAA legend
Three All-Stars
Given his debut by Banty in ’07
Monaghans's best talent in a generation
But when his company scores ~€10million in State contracts he uses a different name....why so secret? 🤔
PART II...🧵
⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Conor McManus is Monaghan GAA Royalty.
One of the best forwards to ever play the game.
Made his debut under Banty in '07 and played under him again from 2019 to 2022.
But it turns out he isn't just a key man on the pitch...
Last month @thecurrency published a bombshell report detailing how "Dublin Homeless Region Executive"(DRHE) is paying hundreds of millions to private landlords for "emergency accommodation"
Banty tops the list with €50m along with other major players in the IPAS system.
