a company founded by a controversial businessman with an EXCEPTIONALLY CONTROVERSIAL relationship with Paschal Donohoe...🍿

I’ve dug deep into OPW tender documents trying to find more details on the bike shed contract.

It’s v suspicious that it’s nowhere to be found—especially since it is a legal requirement to publish these.

But what I did uncover is definitely worth sharing…🧵 In 2022 South Dublin County Council gave €400k to Allgo Mechanical Engineering to build bike shelters for schools and parks.

The documents do not clarify how many shelters were to be built...

All rely heavily on Govt. funding - a major risk to independence.
