"When the roots are rotten, the fruit is bitter."

The bike shed contract is steeped in corruption. You reap what you sow.

New information has just come out, so let's walk through the facts....🧵Image Who is Michael Stone?

A prominent Celtic Tiger businessman & close friend with Bertie.

He set up Designer Group, his engineering company in 1992. It turns over ~€150m+ every year.

It holds many lucrative State contracts.Image

Dog & Pony Show

RTÉ’s riot coverage was going as expected, until 45mins in, things took a bizarre turn

Suddenly, it morphed into a tribute to the self-righteous businessman Paul Collins - a real victim who claims he's not in it for profit...lol

Time to scratch the surface...🧵 Celtic Tiger Cowboy 🤠

You could be forgiven for believing Collins, when he says that he is not in it for profit...because up until 2015 he had never made one. 😅

He was bailed out by NAMA, (your taxes), to the tune of €45million! 💸Image

"The better you look, the more you see." 🚲

For the last week, I’ve been scouring the internet, determined to find out who was behind the €336k bike shed.

But all along, the answer was hiding in plain sight...🧵Image IT IS NOW my working assumption that Sensori Facilities Management was the primary contractor for the bike shed—

a company founded by a controversial businessman with an EXCEPTIONALLY CONTROVERSIAL relationship with Paschal Donohoe...🍿Image

I’ve dug deep into OPW tender documents trying to find more details on the bike shed contract.

It’s v suspicious that it’s nowhere to be found—especially since it is a legal requirement to publish these.

But what I did uncover is definitely worth sharing…🧵 In 2022 South Dublin County Council gave €400k to Allgo Mechanical Engineering to build bike shelters for schools and parks.

The documents do not clarify how many shelters were to be built...Image

I've been researching various NGOs that advocate for the rights of men, women, migrants, prisoners, & LGBTQ+.

Some clearly do great work. Others look fraudulent.
All rely heavily on Govt. funding - a major risk to independence.

Below is some basic info worth sharing...🧵 Immigrant Council of Ireland

Mission: Create an inclusive society free of racism.
Function: Legal support, advocacy, campaigns.
Funding: €1,180,415 (~50% Govt funded)
Payroll: €868,630
Staff: 12 full timeImage

The Childcare Crisis👨‍👩‍👧

Childcare costs are like a "second mortgage".

Most couples cannot afford to have the families they want.

This sad reality is a direct result of bad Govt. policy,

But it doesn't have to be like this.....🧵Image First, let's look at the problem.

The Irish Govt. has been under-investing in childcare for years.

Costs for parents are now spiralling out of control.

Young Irish couples are putting their lives on hold unable to afford having kids.

Denmark 🇩🇰
often hailed as one of the most successful social welfare states in the world 🌎

Global leader in green energy 🌳

World-class free healthcare and education 🤓

Renowned progressive values 🌈

Prisons which focus on rehabilitation

But yet, Denmark has the toughest asylum laws in Europe, whats going on....🧵Image "It's just obvious you can't have free immigration and a welfare state." - Milton Friedman

Denmark’s welfare state is legendary, offering free healthcare, top-tier education, generous parental leave, and strong social security.

However, in the 2010s, as migrants began arriving en masse, the sustainability of these benefits came under threat.

The Danish Govt. realised basic economics and had to act.Image

This is the new owner of the old paint factory in Coolock. 🚨

Meet Peter McGarry,

He’s from Kildare,

but lives in Switzerland for tax reasons. 🤓🇨🇭

He likes to virtue-signal online about his electric Land Rover and his “Earth Foundation”.

But he doesn’t mention his actual business of housing asylum seekers
for maximum profit

To be fair to Peter though he doesn’t seem like the brains behind the operation.

My suspicion is he the junior partner…. 🧵 The other owner of the old paint factory is Paul Collins..

the real piece of meat in this story 🥩

Collins was a Celtic Tiger Cowboy.

NAMA bailed him out for €45million !!

he reportedly still has personal loans of €2.7m to AIB.

But he never gave up the graft.

For over a decade he has been involved in asylum centres all over Ireland - Kerry, Roscommon, Leitrim, Dublin, Cork.

He’s basically an asylum centre dealer.Image
