Democrats convincing ppl "voting for a candidate isn't an endorsement of their positions" has to be one of the most insane things ever said in US politics. That's literally why you vote! That's how "consent of the governed" is established according to liberal political theory!
There's no such thing as "strategic voting." Voting is *always* an assent to have your interests represented by the person you voted for in lieu of your direct self-representation. That's why it's representative democracy and not direct democracy. It's the will of the majority.
I don't believe that b/c I'm not a liberal, but y'all do! I know that this is class dictatorship and that elections are an ideological buy-in to the system as different factions of the capitalist class vie for their own interests, while also cooperating in repressing the workers.

The pain I see in my Palestinian friends is something I recognize. Almost everyone has family killed/wounded/displaced. They're watching their ancient society, its places, its storytellers, its memory, be annihilated. I recognize it as the pain we Jews feel looking at the Shoah.
This is not to say "Jews can only understand Palestinian grief filtered thru our own grief," but that the assault on Palestinians in Gaza, the West Bank & Jerusalem is a genocide & that Zionists are literally doing to them what was once done to us & used to justify that ideology.
Like this is literally what "Never Again" means. It means nobody should ever experience what we did in the Shoah, and yet here we are, with so many Jews & ostensible supporters of Jews cheering on & making excuses for the very thing we supposedly swore to prevent.
