1/IMPORTANT thread about Bluesky, for those fleeing there. Folks know that it was seeded by Jack Dorsey around a libertarian vision of a magical network that wouldn’t need moderation because it would be decentralized and baked into a protocol (somehow).
2/The people who aided Dorsey in pursuing this vision were other libertarian/post-rationalists connected with effective altruism and other online anarchist movements. One network called TPOT (‘that part of Twitter’) was instrumental. It carried over into Bluesky’s founding DNA. Image
3/Someone made the visualization above in 2023, showing the TPOT/EA network quite clearly. EA as you know is part of TESCREAL and the belief systems that have driven Sam Bankman Fried and Elon Musk. SBF also put money into Musk’s Twitter buy.

4/Now that Dorsey has bailed, Bluesky’s DNA is basically TPOT people but without a funding source. Who is going to win in that scenario? I don’t know, but I’m not putting money on the users.

5/Bluesky’s most recent funding round was provided by Blockchain Capital LLC. What do those folks want from their investment? I don’t know. But that’s the question to be asking. Crypto money outspent Big Oil in this cycle … to the tune of $200mm.
6/So anyway it’s fun to call it “the good place” but the fact is users will likely once again get a rude awakening when it either collapses or is captured by Musk, or worse. You’re using a free service on someone else’s dime; you should ask what they want from you.

10/🚨It get's worse. Blockchain Capital LLC was co-founded by Steve Bannon pal Brock Pierce, a major crypto advocate, perennial presidential candidate, and close friend of Eric Adams. Pierce has dozens of other shady MAGA/Russia ties as well.

11/Eric Adams was a frequent guest on Pierce's jet. Steve Bannon helped Pierce raise $60mm from Goldman Sachs 20 years ago for his "World of Warcraft" mining arbitrage play, Internet Gaming Entertainment. So no, you don't want anything to do with Bluesky.

1/Eight years ago this week I had a vision of what is happening now, and it chilled me to my core. I was traveling to Latvia to speak at an event. I reached out to the office of the late Rep. Elijah Cummings with my concern. He called me while I was on the tarmac in Riga.
2/I shared with him my concerns: about capture of the government by Putin, about Curtis Yarvin, about Aleksandr Dugin, and Steve Bannon, and various propagandists connected to Russia. He shared my concerns and pledged to look into it.
3/I wrote up my vision into two short articles, one quoting a piece by Dugin. I shared them widely, and with people in a position to act.

So all of this is terrifying, but do you really think Musk and Johnson are going to avoid defaulting on the debt? Do you really think they are going to pass a budget deal by March 14? When Mike Johnson, who has no bank accounts, was backed by the author of Project Russia?

The more I learn about what Elon Musk appears to be doing the more I think he needs an immediate mental health intervention. The dude is out of his damn mind.
Not only insane, but a terror threat on a global scale. Seriously, he needs to be stopped, before more people get hurt.
Musk has entered a very dark phase where his provocations will be accelerating daily. It will be very difficult to keep up with his assaults, much less adjudicate any criminal actions. He appears to believe we have entered 'the singularity.'

If one was going to move the US towards debt default, greatly harming MAGAGOP electorally, one might want to first destabilize it by sparking a schism over a different issue.
So-called “extraordinary measures” will begin as soon as January 14, as the debt ceiling is reimposed next Thursday, January 2nd. Yellen will enact this and then hand off to Bessent. It is naive to think that this will magically end well.
Bessent is known for helping to “break” the Bank of England, greatly damaging the Pound. Is the dollar next? Perhaps.
