Pete Hegseth would give congressional testimony against the VA and other veteran social programs under the guise of representing a large veteran organization.
But really, he was helping the Koch brothers wage their libertarian ideological battles against social programs.
Ultimately, what Pete Hegseth was pushing for was the privatization of VA healthcare.
This was back during the fight for universal healthcare, so the Koch Brothers set up the CVA organization, put Pete in charge of it, and sent him out there to trash socialized medicine.
The reward for his dutiful attempts to dismantle veteran benefits and healthcare?
A prime slot on Fox News — even though he had ZERO experience in journalism.
And now, his reward for endlessly backing Trump through treason after treason?
Secretary of Defense.
I would say “unbelievable,” but there is no level of insanity unbelievable in a 2nd Trump presidency.
Pete Hegseth was in the National Guard and he studied finance in college before working for Bear Sterns as a market analyst.
The ONLY thing he is qualified to do is spread rightwing propaganda for the billionaires.
But then, that’s why they have rewarded little Pete.
Folks — the bottom of the barrel keeps going deeper and deeper and we are about to be in some serious sh*t.
Plan accordingly.

The rightwing has the “Jews will not replace us” crowd—but they just invited Netanyahu to speak.
They also have Mr. “Muslim Ban” as their candidate, but the “Free Palestine” crowd is helping him by attacking VP Harris.
The Patriot Front “America First” extremists are now aligned with the “Death To America” crowd because they both hate the Jews (for different reasons).
We got African Americans actively campaigning against a candidate with African heritage because who the fuck knows why…
…and all the while, NOBODY is even bothering to talk about WHY Trump is running for president in the first place—to avoid prosecution for stealing Top Secret documents and trying to overthrow an election.
