A little history on Pete Hegseth:

Little Pete used to run a “veterans organization” called Concerned Veterans of America (CVA).

They only had a few veteran members and were more of a propaganda arm of Koch Industries. 🧵 Pete Hegseth would give congressional testimony against the VA and other veteran social programs under the guise of representing a large veteran organization.

But really, he was helping the Koch brothers wage their libertarian ideological battles against social programs. Image

The politics of this nation make my head spin.

The rightwing has the “Jews will not replace us” crowd—but they just invited Netanyahu to speak.

They also have Mr. “Muslim Ban” as their candidate, but the “Free Palestine” crowd is helping him by attacking VP Harris. The Patriot Front “America First” extremists are now aligned with the “Death To America” crowd because they both hate the Jews (for different reasons).

We got African Americans actively campaigning against a candidate with African heritage because who the fuck knows why…

Most people are focusing on the morphine and ketamine that Ronny Jackson ordered for people working in the White House.

But look at the amount of “Provigil” being ordered.

Provigil (aka Modafinil) is a nootropic that improves cognitive function (focus, memory, etc)

I was doing some reading on the physics of an underwater implosion and—not to sound morbid—it’s quite interesting.

Unfortunately, there are likely no bodies to be recovered.

As the water moves in to fill the void, there is a decompression of the surrounding water.
#OceanGate 🧵 The objects inside the void experience an immediate pressurization and a flash heating —as anything instantaneously compressed would.

The depressurized water that initially rushed in to fill the void then experienced a pressure spike — resulting in a shock wave.
