We are living in times of great deception! So many who call themselves men and women of God are walking in complete opposition and disobedience to His Word!
Instead of warning of the consequences of sin, they are celebrating the ones leading the way down the wide path to judgment, destruction, and, eternal damnation in hell!
The LORD through Isaiah says they are like blind and greedy dogs, that are asleep to these things and not barking to warn!
Isaiah 56:10-11
His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.
Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.
These shepherds will have a day of reckoning and the penalty will be great! Woe be unto them says the LORD!
Ezekiel 34:2-4
Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks? Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the flock.
The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but w/force and w/cruelty have ye ruled them.
We look around the church today and find nothing is new under the sun! These church leaders are still bearing rule and it’s not by the authority of God’s Word!
They make up their own words and add them to the Word of the LORD! Or they say the LORD didn’t mean what He said!
They twist His Word to fit their own theology; their own sinful lifestyles! Just like the serpent did to Eve in the Garden of Eden, they convince the people who listen to them of lies!
The LORD says it’s a horrible thing they are doing!
And what about the people who call themselves Christians? The LORD says that instead of speaking out — They love it so! It’s not wonderful in the sense of being good; it’s amazing that they have no fear of the LORD!
Jeremiah 5:30-31
A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land; The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and My people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?
Where are you beloved? Are you standing against the abomination of sacrifice to Molech of innocent children, or have you bought into the lie that it is a woman’s choice to murder her baby?
Are you standing against the abomination of homosexuality and the lie that it’s okay for those of the same sex to join together in marriage, or have you bought into the lie that it’s just fine, times have changed?
So many are like the last church described in the book of Revelation — Laodicea! This church was focused on their wealth, and had become worldly. They were described as lukewarm, and it was detestable to the LORD!
Thinking themselves to be rich, they were poor in every way! And the LORD was about to spit them out of His mouth!
Revelation 3:15-17
I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of My mouth.
Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked.
We expect these abominations from the world, but these things are happening among those saying they are Christians!
The shepherds have turned away from the LORD and are teaching blasphemy themselves, and allowing blasphemy to be taught from their pulpits!
Many Christians are not only welcoming such abominations, but are saying amen to the blasphemy being spoken!
They have turned aside from the Truth, and are believing a lie! Woe unto these false shepherds, prophets, and teachers! Woe unto those who say amen! Woe unto them all saith the LORD!
Wake up church, shake yourself from this spell that has been cast upon you! Repent and come out of these places!
Revelation 3:19-20
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me.
Is someone telling you to put God’s holy Word aside and teach something else? Woe be unto that man!
Psalm 50:16-17
But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare My statutes, or that thou shouldest take My covenant in thy mouth?
Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest My Words behind thee.
Many wanting to walk in their own pleasures; in every lust of their flesh, and not give up fulfilling their every desire have turned from the truth!
Instead of worshipping God, they worship man, and the words of men! They have set up men as idols, and follow them, instead of following the LORD!
Romans 1:25
Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator.
It’s everywhere today, and many who say they are His, are caught up in this net of deception, lies, and false teaching! As Jeremiah said — They love it so!
But the end thereof is death! You can’t follow man and the LORD! You can’t live the world and put your hope in this life, your hope must be in the LORD, and in the world to come!
Wherever your hope and your treasure are, your heart will be also!
Matthew 6:19-21
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
So many think they are awake and enlightened, but they are full of darkness! Be careful that the light in you is not really darkness!
Matthew 6:23-24
But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
The LORD is calling His remnant to come out from the places practicing abominations, and preaching things that tickle your ears! We are in the last days!
Perilous times are here! We are told not to love the world or the things in it yet that’s exactly where our joy and hope are found!
All the prophets of old warned of impending judgment! They warned God’s people about their sin and cried out for them to turn to God in repentance.
What are those that call themselves prophets today saying? There are many prophesying lies! Those that do speak out are hated and condemned as being intolerant, hateful, and judgmental!
May the LORD give you discernment to turn away from such men, that you partake not in their judgment!
2 Timothy 3:1-5
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection,
Trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
The LORD said this to the church at Laodicea!
Revelation 3:18
I counsel thee to buy of Me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear;
And anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
Come out of these worldly, harlot churches beloved! Turn away from the lusts of this world! Repent and turn back to the LORD before it’s too late!
Revelation 18:4-5
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
A horrible thing is happening around us, what will we do? Speak out, or remain silent and be held accountable by the LORD for not warning!
Ezekiel 3:18
When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

When we find ourselves in the depths of worry, sickness, fear, or despair, the LORD does hear our cry, unless we are walking in rebellion to His Word!
The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and His ears are open unto their cry. The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.
When Moses had been on the mountain with the LORD for some time, the people grew impatient. They wanted something they could see with their eyes to save them!
They asked Aaron to fashion a god that they could see!
Instead of waiting on the LORD, they took matters into their own hands! They looked to someone other than the LORD to lead them!
So often God’s people today are guilty of the same. They look to man to save them, instead of trusting that the LORD is in control and waiting for Him! They want a human mediator, or in this case a golden calf!
We set aside special days to remember those who have served, or are serving their Country. Today is one of those days!
We should also remember the sacrifice of the parents, spouses, children, extended family and friends of these men and women!
When our son served in Iraq and Afghanistan, as his parents, his well being was always on our hearts and minds, and not only ours, but he was on the hearts of our other children, our family, and our friends!
Thankfully our son came home safe and sound, but so many gave the ultimate sacrifice of their lives, or came home with physical and emotional scars! For all of these we are thankful!
In this world you will have tribulation; you will be tested and tried! Jesus told us what we would be called upon to suffer if we choose to follow Him and walk in obedience to His Word!
Jesus also told us He has overcome the world!
John 16:33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
He says that the trials we endure shouldn’t surprise us, because if we know His Word, we have been warned about what the future holds!
How do we persevere to the end and overcome the evil of this world?
Ephesians 6:18
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.
Only by His Spirit in us!
We often speak of Ephesians six, but do we practice what it teaches?
We want the benefits of the full armor of God, but we don’t have access to that armor unless we are in Christ, and His Spirit is in us!
Here is the rest of the oft quoted passage!
Ephesians 6:10-17
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the LORD, and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Do you mourn over sin? Does it grieve your heart to see how wicked not only the world is, but those that say they are the people of God? What about sin in your own life? Have you become apathetic to sin?
Sin in the our Country and world today is not grieved, or deplored! It’s not even just tolerated — It is celebrated!
Instead of mourning sin, our society mourns those who mourn sin!
Do you know that the Word tells us that those who continue to rejoice in unrighteousness long enough, will be turned over by God to that unrighteousness?
