The reason we do FBI background checks for security clearances is because those individuals are given information that could harm our nation if it falls into the wrong hands.

The fact that the Trump transition team is avoiding FBI background checks, so they can install people that they KNOW wouldn’t pass them, is abhorrent and insanely dangerous.
Secretary of Defense and Director of National Intelligence are not positions you hand out as political favors.
