🧵1/ @GYLA_CSO declares that the citizens arrested during the current protests are being treated inhumanely 👇
/ According to GYLA, detainees reported that law enforcement officers committed acts of violence both during and after their arrest. They were brutally beaten by at least six special forces officers inside a minibus.
/ The officers alternated with each other during the violence and discussed breaking the detainees’ arms or legs. A superior officer directed them to target the liver and occipital area.
/ Some of the arrested individuals are currently in a medical facility. They have bruises all over their bodies and facial injuries, including fractures of the nose and jaw.
/ All those admitted to the clinic have concussions, multiple bruises and hematomas, and difficulty moving and speaking.
/ After a prolonged and continuous beating, there was blood in the minibus. During the process, the raincoat of one of the beaten individuals was soaked with blood.
/ The torture was supervised by an older man who ensured that no one died during the beating. Those who were taken out of the minibus were led through a corridor by special forces, where each one was kicked in the face and back before being taken to the police patrol car.
/ The special forces removed the detainees' shoes, and many of them were brought to the medical facility barefoot. They also confiscated the detainees' mobile phones and forced them to remove the passcodes.
