If drivers join protests by marching and police decide it hinders traffic, the driver:

Will be fined 1000 GEL
Will be deprived of their right to drive for 1 year

1/ "Georgian Dream" is holding the presidential election, with the only candidate being GD-nominated former football player and MP Mikheil Kavelashvili, who has only completed school-level education The process began at 09:00 in the Parliament building.

2/ The election is being conducted under a new system, where the president is elected by a 300-member electoral collegium. Of these, 211 members represent GD. To secure victory in the first round, a candidate must receive the support of 200 voters.
