Honest and legitimate request for feedback for once:
The new game I'm passionately working on is currently set to be a traditional roguelike (i.e. ADOM, nethack, etc) mixed with a tile based first person dungeon crawler (ie Legend of Grimrock (esp 2), Eye of the Beholder)
But then I gots to thinking that maybe there are people who like my work but might not share my taste in retro nostalgia and would prefer for me to make a spiritual successor thing to Minecraft, and I mean sure, I'd take that cash.
So market research.
I'd be happy to oblige either, which one would make you happier?
pls vote potion. you can do this zoomers, it's actually super cozy.
Kinda feels like stardew valley, but more diagonal door kicking.

Woohoo!! I finally beat the 9 tile high map factorio challenge.
In retrospect, I probably should just have hand carried all the resources for yellow science, automating it easily took up half the game session.
Very fun, 5/5, never again.
As for advanced oil, I ended up barreling and sushi-belting. It's.. uh.. an interesting solution.
If/when you find a better one, please let me know. This was the best scaleable solution I found.
Oh and oil liquification is surprisingly viable in this mode if you manage to get it up and running. One or two refineries is enough to sustain all the yellow science lubricant needs because it spits out so much heavy.
