Here's Bottom 10 Tamil movies from 2024 that pander to D ideology by either targeting a micro community, or by peddling anti-H, or anti-nationalistic communist dialogues.
These films will have to be named and shamed, for these are the Gems of Dravidawood:
1) Ayalaan - great care is taken for a 5 sec "comedy" clip making a random TB mama fall into the sewage drain.
To pick a junior artist, dress him up in a TB mama attire, do multiple retakes to get it right requires ideological passion.
In D-wood film, villain's company is named "Aaryan" industries.
2) Lal Salaam - imagine a director going out of the way in her audio launch to claim that superstar is not a Sanghi.
And then makes a substandard secular film with Rajini as Moideen Bhai giving lessons on haram and halal.
What's a secular film, u ask? Simple. One in which the do-gooder hero is a M and the villain is a H.
Thanks to the lost hard disk, otherwise LoL Salaam would have won all Acadummy awards only.
3) Hit List - in the debut film of Vijay Kanishka, son of director Vikraman, a deliberate scene is cooked up to malign Hs.
In covid times ICU, one comrade doc requests for oxygen for a pregnant woman from a fellow patient as supply is scarce.
The one who selfishly denies help to a pregnant woman struggling to breathe could have just been anyone. But no.
Dravidawood will make sure this random selfish character is dressed in saffron, having a japa mala, smeared in vibhuti, kungumam, having a Ganesha idol next to his hospital bed to show that religion makes one forget humanity.
And according to Tamil cinema, it is always, one religion's practitioners only that forget humanity. Always.
4) In the movie 'Blue Star' directed by Ranjith's AD Jayakumar, one of the nepo-kids who gets picked for cricket at the expense of the (underprivileged) protagonist is named Ashwin.
Do you know which cricketer the team talked to, for promoting this same movie?
Ravichandran Ashwin.
Just the usual Kollywood shenanigans.
If characters with -ve shades are named Ashwin, what is the protagonist's name you ask? Ranjith.
These subpar movies have extensive support from the ecosystem - see FC and TNM reviews, for, these movies exist for posterity to further their ideology.
5) Boat might be the most brazen D movie of 2024, that seeks to consolidate its D in-group against the Aryan outgroups.
With deliberately chosen characters & dialogues, this poorly staged film would put Goebells to shame in terms of propaganda.
6) Raayan makes no fuss about metaphorically glorifying Raavana, who fights for his sister's revenge, even when his brothers (Vibheeshana) betray him.
Dhanush himself writes such lyrics: "அடங்காத அசுரன் தான், வணங்காத மனுஷன்தான்" glorifying Asuras as some rebels, a D trope.
7) Raghu Thaatha - a political satire film about Hindi imposition, directed by Suman of 'The Family Man' fame.
With dialogues openly glorifying EVR and with scenes where the heroine is at the forefront of protests demanding shutting down of Prachar Sabha, D-wood has normalised Hindi hate for government school kids, even as their leaders run CBSE schools with Hindi being taught well.
8) Thangalaan, of Pa Ranjith is yet another cherry on top of his Dravidian cake, rated 5/5 stars on the world's most neutral news portal TNM.
Ranjith's project is to pitch Buddhism as the antidote to Br@hmanism, and also to make an imaginary historical case that the downtrodden people were all Buddhists.
In a 100 years, this film will be cited as the source in D research circles. You can already see how Sura and Asura have been ridiculously defined by such researchers for their agenda.
9) Vettaiyan, that features Superstar, fondly referred to as Thalaivar (leader) by his fans, leads his followers to glorify Macualay - the Former Paymaster General of the United Kingdom.
The good fellas in this film are named - Saranya, Guna, Patrick, Nazeema while the ones on the bad side are - Swetha Dhakshinamoorthy, Harish Kumar, Natraj Shanmugam.
We got it, Gnanavel. Criminals will not be found in colonies, only in corporate houses, except producers who fund your films.
10) Viduthalai 2 - touted as the weakest Vetrimaaran film, is also perhaps his first BO failure.
VM threw all caution and subtlety to the winds, and went full-on lecture mode in Viduthalai 2. At one point, you wouldn't know if you're sitting in a cinema theatre or in some Communist political meeting.
Apart from justifying Ma0ist vi0lence, VM subtly gives a hat tip to one great leader who put his head on a railway track during a protest.
For the fact-checker that VM is, it'd have been nicer if he had checked which platform the train came and which platform the leader put his head upon. But why let facts get in the way of a good Dravidawood propaganda?

Please Rt the first post of the thread to spread the word on Dravidawood:
Once, when Sundaramoorthy Naayanar was on a yatra to Chola temples, he crossed a river & continued to walk near Mazhapaadi, an area covered by dense Konnai trees.
He heard a voice: "Sundaram, Ennai Marandhaayo?" (Sundaram, did you forget me?) but it was not from any human (1/5)
Shocked, he enquired the locals if there were any temples around.
With their guidance, he discovered a small temple fully covered by Konnai trees (golden shower) that were fully bloomed.
This Kondrai flower is a favorite of Lord Shiva, who is called கொன்றை வேந்தன் (2/5)
Sundarar started singing: "Dear Lord, what question did you ask me? How can I think of anyone else forgetting you?"
And started singing:
"பொன்னார் மேனியனே!
அன்னே உன்னையல்லால் இனி யாரை நினைக்கேனே?" This verse is the favorite of Sendhan Amudhan from Ponniyin Selvan.
Here's Ramya's life journey: a coming-of-age tale of a perennially hormonal, self-centered girl who constantly makes bad life choices and then blames her parents or society for it.
An analysis of the psyche of a Bad Girl (1/12)
Open panna, Ramya is 16. Studies in Dronacharya Gurukulam (PSBB) that has Sri Ramajayam written on all boards.
Her age and her scores are a perfect match: has 16 marks out of 100 in MPC subjects, so the Brahminical school "denied" her any fun.
But she has her own fun anyways
As early as Class 9, she had a BF. The irony? Sidhu had proposed to her friend, got rejected, and Ramya the empathic martyr, accepts him out of pity.
Not out of romance. Out of dependence.
The kind that mistakes “being chosen” for “being seen.”
They have "fun" in the school's secret furniture room many times. Later, he moves on to someone else and she overhears him calling her an item. Yet Ramya never learns about boys from this episode.
It is one thing to excel at one chosen field, but entirely another to rule the roost in six different fields - Law, Theatre, Cinema, Journalism, Writing and Political Strategy.
On his birthday, let us take a look at the CV of the multifaceted Cho Ramaswamy (1/10)
Born in Chennai to Srinivasan and Rajammal on Oct 5, 1934, Cho did his SSLC in PS Higher Secondary, Mylapore in Tamil Medium.
He did Intermediate from Loyola, and got a B Sc in Geography in Vivekananda College - as it was the easiest to get admitted to (According to him😁).
He then got his Bachelors in Law in 1953-55 from Chennai Law College, and practised law in Chennai High Court for 6 years.
He then became the legal consultant for TTK group for over 12 years. Here, he had smartly used a tactic to get a case dismissed from a begruntled employee.
World's best narrative setters DMK had deployed a half-baked filmmaker to peddle their often repeated agenda, portraying "Aryam" as a villain and Dravidam as a savior.
Let's fact check some of their much popularized narrative claims in this short read (1/6)
Claim: "Education was gatekept in TN, Dravidam opened it for all"
Fact: 78.5% of the 1.42 lakh Hindu students in 1825 Madras Presidency were non-Brahmins
Where was Dravidam in 1825?
TN was always a hotspot for education, churning out scholars from all communities.
Claim: "Dravidam introduced mid-day meal schemes"
Fact: Theosophical society run schools had introduced the scheme to improve attendance, as early as 1905. Justice Party was against Theosophical society and its Home Rule Movement. It was K Kamaraj and later MGR who expanded on these schemes state-wide.
Do you know why DMK is a mighty force that OWNS narratives, whereas its measly opponents are forever playing catch-up in an uphill battle?
It is because proponents of Dravidam know & care abt something that intellectuals of the non-left disregard and disrespect. Read on (1/10)
The common people of TN are moved primarily by emotions. They are wired to think that good speakers are good thinkers, and to the common man, rhetoric = reality.
And DMK is master of using the Greek technique of pathos, to persuade people into buying their narratives. How?
Dstocks own Cinema, Street play, Reality shows, Mega Serials - basically every mass medium that has "mind share". They use emotions to their benefit.
They plant the highly sticky ideas of victimization by a clear opponent - Tam vs Hindi, Aryan vs Drav, State v Centre.
Ever wondered why iconoclastic invaders across the world specifically cut off noses, ears, hands or eyes of the pagan idols with ideological passion?
Did you know this belief directly correlates with anti-Brahm rhetoric of Dravidian politics?
An important thread (1/10)
Context: The ancient world was not monotheistic at all like today.
It was a pagan world with many Gods: Zeus, Poseidon, Thor, Aphrodite, Durga, Shiva, Vishnu.
And each region had their own national God - Athena of Athens, Padmanaba of Trivandrum and Yahweh, the God of Israel.
Even Jews were not monotheistic originally -they were monolaters. Meaning, they didn't deny that other Gods didn't exist, they simply didn't worship them.
Its the first step to monotheism: "My God is greater than other Gods, so I shan't worship them or put them before mine."
