For my non-American friends: I’m going to try to explain modern American politics to you, using the Wizard World of Harry Potter.
Republicans and Democrats aren’t Harry, Dumbledore, Voldemort.
Republicans are Gilderoy Lockhart.
Democrats are Lucius Malfoy.
Thread🧵🪄💫
Republicans – conservative media, political operatives, elected officials, are generally considered to be on the “good” side, like Professor Lockhart is.
(You read the books, saw the movies. You know where this is going.)
In reality, they’re feckless midwit narcissists.
Republicans love celebrity. They crave it. Doesn’t matter how fleeting or unlikely.
Kanye.
The Hawk Tuah girl.
Even J. K. Rowling herself, unquestioningly liberal, is claimed by the American right for simply pointing out that boys aren’t girls.
The GOP would’ve loooved Harry.
A lack of talent, experience, or knowledge has never scared a Republican away from pursuing or accepting a position of authority.
Here’s what Republicans – in politics, and in media – love the best:
Writing books about themselves.
Republicans love to talk tough.
They’ll face off with anyone.
…when it’s all for show. When it doesn’t matter.
(And when they lose even these meaningless battles, they have a million excuses why.)
“…Pretty obvious.”
Sometimes a Republican insists on helping.
Whoopsie!
But if you REALLY want to see what a Republican is made of…
Ask them to do what they said they’d do. What they promised, they *bragged*, they’d do.
Oh, the fear. The absolute cowardice, the abject refusal.
If the GOP electorate ever attempts to force the GOP to govern in the way it was elected to do, you will see an intense, brutal fighter…
…dead set on making sure its conservative base pays dearly for the pure gall to make such outrageous demands.
Republicans are Lockhart.
Now, the Democrats.
Democrats are Lucius Malfoy.
So many reasons why!
Lucius Malfoy, and the American left, lie about their history, about EVERYTHING. Doesn’t matter that everyone knows they’re lying. They can’t stop.
“We weren’t the party of slavery!”
“We weren’t the KKK!”
“I did not have relations with that woman!”
“We aren’t Death Eaters!”
One of the Democrats’ favorite tricks (and like when Lucius Malfoy employs it, highly effective for a good long while):
Targeting innocent children with malign influences in the form of books and other media.
Just slip it in, even right in front of parents!
Democrats love slavery and servitude. Always have. They’ve always been extraordinarily racist (see: Joe Biden, 1980s).
Even now, they’re all “…but who will do our lawns without Mexicans? Do blacks even know how to use a computer?”
Sometimes it’s been in the form of overt chattel slavery, nowadays it’s maintaining a perpetual illegal immigrant labor class (browns) or welfare state (blacks), but affluent white Kennedy/Clinton/Malfoy types do love maintaining power at the expense of those “beneath them.”
And oh, the fury, the murderous rage, the cries of “Uncle Tom” and “race traitor,” if a Clarence Thomas or Ben Carson or Thomas Sewell escapes the Democrat political plantation! Big mad!
Democrats have no problem whatsoever threatening, harming, or even killing children.
(This is probably more true than we’re allowed to realize.)
But what Democrats, and Lucius, have always been very good at doing is acquiring position of power in politics and academia to give themselves a sheen of respectability as they go about their plotting and scheming to destroy society.
“Ministry of Magic.”
“Hogwarts governors.”
Because make no mistake, Democrats *do want* to destroy society.
I’m not sure exactly who the Voldemort is.
Klaus Schwab and the WEF?
Rothschilds?
Bilderberg Group?
I tend to think it’s someone we still don’t know about.
But the Democrats are doing his bidding.
I hope that explains American politics in a fun, easy-to-understand way!
The best advice I can give: treat Republicans and Democrats like Harry Potter treated Gilderoy Lockhart and Lucius Malfoy.
Don’t ever trust the first.
Realize the second is evil.
Thanks for reading!🧵🇺🇸

Texas A&M president Mark Welsh III has ALWAYS has been a far-left militant DEI proponent who has ALWAYS used positions of power to force “diversity“ into the institutions he leads, never letting “legal hurdles“ stop him.
