In a just world, billionaires wouldn't exist. There should be an escalating tax system, which makes it impossible for an individual to accumulate a billion or more. No one can accumulate that level of wealth, purely from their own work, not taking more than their fair share.

This level of wealth, always involves taking far more than their fair share from others. Essentially, by stealing from other people. This takes place because as someone accumulates great wealth, it also gives them great power and the ability to corrupt and subvert our system.

For the hard of thinking, or the dishonest, this is not communism, it's just common sense, and fairness. We are not talking about ordinary levels of wealth.

Disregarding interest, if someone were to save 1 million a year, it would take 1000 years to accumulate 1 billion.

Those with such extraordinary levels of wealth, inevitably use it to corrupt and subvert our system, to their own ends, by buying politicians, buying influence, owning the media, social or news. They use their great wealth to disseminate, propaganda.

Billionaires, and the huge wealth of very large corporations, are the very reason our world is in a complete mess. With an out of control, climate and ecological emergency, wars, political mayhem, a cost of living crisis, poverty etc.

The extremely wealthy, whether individuals, or large corporations, subvert and corrupt our systems, to suit themselves, and undermine attempts to create a fairer system, and to address environmental impacts, which are an existential threat to our civilization.

Again, I emphasize, that I'm talking about extreme wealth, well beyond a normal very wealthy person. The wealth of those with this extreme wealth is growing exponentially, because their wealth allows them to subvert our system, to suit their own ends.

We are not talking about the level of wealth of a movie star, a rock star, a successful author, or a very successful professional would accumulate, without engaging in other wheeling and dealing, or power play.

As I say, these people are subverting our system, and corrupting our political systems, to ensure they pay much lower levels of tax than they should, and the whole system, is subverted to their wealth accumulation obsession/addiction.

The escalating prices ordinary people have to pay for things, is purely down to the greed of the extremely wealthy. This is why they are getting so much richer, so quickly. They are stealing from you, and exploiting you, for their own ends.

The extremely wealthy, finance propaganda about immigration, to create the false impression, that it is immigrants that are stealing the lifestyles of ordinary people, with austerity measures, and the cost of living crisis. A dishonest distraction.

Actually, it is the extremely wealth, fuelling economic migration, by seeking low paid workers, to cut their overheads, to increase their growing wealth. It couldn't be more ironic. The richer they get, the more propaganda they finance, to mislead the public.
