The Washington Post just released its newest survey about reading.

Here are 10 stats about reading that will surprise you:

1) 64% of Americans read at least 1 book in 2024.

2) That's a 9% improvement from the 54% stat in 2023.

3) 37% of Americans read 0 books in 2024.

4) People who make $100k+ are about 20% more likely to read a book than people who make <$50k.

5) Only 4% of people read 50 or more books in 2024.

6) Females are 2x more likely to read 50+ books than males.

7) People with advanced degrees are 3x more likely to read 50+ books than people with high school degrees.

You can also easily turn ebooks into audiobooks, and you can read an ebook while listening to the audiobook at the same time.
