The police has mislead the public about events in Whitehall and Trafalgar Square, claiming the Palestine coalition attempted to push through police lines. Our footage shows the truth. WATCH ⬇️(1/6)
As the full video of his speech shows, PSC Director @BenJamalpsc called for a small delegation of speakers, including MPs, cultural figures and a Holocaust survivor to peacefully walk to police lines and seek permission from the police to lay flowers at the BBC. He explicitly highlighted that if the police blocked the delegation, they would stop and lay flowers at the feet of the police. (2/6)
The delegation walked peacefully up to the police line at Whitehall with their flowers and requested to be let through. Our footage clearly shows the Police choosing to beckon them through. (3/6)
After being waved through by the police, the delegation then approached the second police line at Trafalgar Square where they were refused permission to move further. Head steward @ChrisNineham of @STWuk then again requested the delegation be allowed to continue to the BBC, at which point he was violently arrested by police. (4/6)
At this point PSC Director @BenJamalpsc called for the delegation to return to Trafalgar Square and disperse. This was then done exactly as highlighted from the stage. (5/6)
The police’s actions, including their false statements after the event, are a direct assault on freedom of assembly and democracy. We demand the immediate release of all those arrested and remain resolute in our campaign for freedom and justice for the Palestinian people. (6/6) Image

🚨It’s working - new data has revealed that Israeli imports to the UK are plummeting due to our consumer boycott campaign.📉

We must continue to grow the mass boycott to isolate and weaken genocidal Israel’s apartheid regime. (1/7) Image
Our Don’t Buy Apartheid campaign calls on all individuals and businesses to boycott Israeli produce, and Coca-Cola and its brands.

Israeli agricultural exporters, shipping fruit and veg to supermarkets in Britain, are participants in Israel’s colonisation and military occupation through operating farms and facilities on stolen Palestinian land. (3/7)

The Madleen, a UK-flagged civilian ship en route to Gaza as part of the Freedom Flotilla, is protected under international maritime law. As a vessel flying the British flag, it is the responsibility of the United Kingdom. 2/7
The civilians aboard the Madleen are acting to stop genocide and prevent future harm by seeking to break Israel’s illegal siege on Gaza and deliver life-saving aid. 3/7

We are sorry to see Gary Lineker stepping away from the BBC – a shameful moment for the publicly funded broadcaster following months of pressure from pro-Israel lobby groups in response to his speaking out against the genocide Israel is unleashing upon Palestinians. 1/12
Lineker rightly shared a video last week in which Diana Buttu, a prominent Palestinian lawyer and human rights activist, detailed the realities of Zionism as the ideology that privileges the rights of one group of people over another. 2/12
Diana explains how this led to the creation of a state which is founded on the back of the forced expulsion of 750,000 Palestinians and the oppression of those not expelled. 3/12

BREAKING: Susan Sarandon, Frankie Boyle and Olivia Cooke are among the 600+ signatories on an open letter condemning the @BBC following its refusal to air the documentary “Gaza: Medics Under Fire”. 1/5

variety.com/2025/tv/news/s…
The documentary features Palestinian doctors and health workers in Gaza testifying to their experience surviving and saving lives in the midst of a genocide, making this latest instance of the @BBC’s silencing of Palestinians particularly appalling.

The signatories echo calls from health workers (@healthW4pal) demanding that the @BBC stops shielding Israel from accountability by continuing to suppress the realities of its genocidal violence against the Palestinian people. 3/5

MAJOR VICTORY! Rector Stella Maris has WON her appeal against the University of St Andrews University, reinstating her roles to the University Court, and as a charity trustee, from which she was dismissed after calling for an end to Israel’s genocide and apartheid. 1/5

thecourier.co.uk/fp/politics/52…
PSC was proud to support the Rector alongside @elsclegal , academics, and students, in her fight against the university’s discriminatory attempts to undermine freedom of expression and academic freedom. 2/5
Whilst repression against human rights advocates increases, from Trump’s deportations in the US to crackdowns on protest in Britain, this important victory shows that those seeking to silence support for Palestinian rights will not succeed. 3/5
