1) After posting this short thread, I was curious as to where MAGA is going with this. And it isn’t good. I searched for “defund national cathedral” and they’re already calling for it. Let me show you what I found. Let’s begin⬇️
2) Here are two examples calling for removing tax-exempt status because of political speech. Now, MAGA evangelical churches regularly do exactly that and they never call for those churches to lose tax-exempt status. Let’s continue⬇️
3) This one is especially troubling. This one calls for a purge of all clergy and staff. That’s actually a violation of the 1st Amendment for the government to do that to a church. Even more so for Republicans to do it to force the church to say what GOP wants said. And also⬇️
4) Here’s one calling for it to be defunded. Which would be the same type of economic warfare done against hostile nations through sanctions and embargoes. Except done to a church by the government in violation of the 1st Amendment. Let’s continue⬇️
5) You’ll see these from “Episcopalians”. What they won’t tell you is there’s a breakaway church that left the Episcopal Church and created their own conservative version. And they call themselves Episcopalians but they’re not in the actual Episcopal Church. Let’s continue⬇️
6) Another idea they have is to switch to a different church. The tearing down or delegitimization of existing institutions and creating new ones is something authoritarian regimes usually do. Let’s continue⬇️
7) Here’s one that just popped up from one of the bigger MAGA influencer accounts. Again, removing tax-exempt status because of Trump not liking the sermon. Also an insult to call the bishop a “bishopess” because Episcopal Church ordains women clergy. Let’s continue⬇️
8) We must understand where we are here right now with this. History tells us exactly where we are. And history will judge us, along with the world itself. Because we’ve seen this before. And we know better than this. This is the beginning of a nightmare. And so⬇️
9) I leave you with the words of Pastor Niemoller passed down to us as a lesson we ought to remember. Don’t be silent. When a system is unjust, dissent is a civic duty. And it’s also the duty we owe to humanity itself.
10) ADDENDUM: They’re now targeting the Episcopal Church for harassment on X.
11) A United States Congressman calling for a US citizen to be deported. Another thing the Nazis did. Stalin, too.
12) Churches lose sanctuary status. And a lot worse.

1) No. I will explain how and why the Democrats were so completely defeated. It’s not what people think it is. The real reason has to do with the Cold War, nuclear war strategy, and RAND Corporation ideas entering politics as political strategy. Let’s begin⬇️
2) During the Cold War, RAND Corporation was tasked with developing nuclear strategy with the USSR being an adversary. They turned to “game theory” to develop strategy. This became doctrine and, of course, civilian politicians were well aware of it. Let’s continue⬇️
3) The problem with game theory (as I learned in a recent book by Daniel Ellsberg on nuclear war strategy) is that it assumes two rational sides in a conflict. It fails if one is irrational. It’s clear Democrats were playing political game theory. But let’s continue⬇️
1) I can do a better job of explaining this than NewsWEAK did. The article doesn’t mention the most important part of what Trump rescinding this executive order means. And that is: Medicare negotiating prescription drug prices. That has now been ended. Let’s get started⬇️
2) Item 1 is what Trump did. Item 2 is one of the Biden executive orders that Trump rescinded. That is Executive Order 14087. What is the most important part of EO14087 that Americans need to see they have now lost. Let’s see that next⬇️
3) Circled, you see the most important part. In being able to negotiate drug prices, Medicare can reduce prescription drug prices for Americans who use Medicare. Now the VA has done this for years. So now let’s see the VA model to fully understand this⬇️
1) Jack’s House has discovered the newest version in this series of false piety scams. The one he’s showing in this video? I’ll show you that one, and more! So let’s get started⬇️
2) It’s this one, currently sold out in preorder. “Currently in production and will ship in 4-6 weeks.” In and from China, presumably. Yes, I can prove that. And I will. But let’s see the rest of these Buy-bulls.⬇️
3) Here they are! It’s all you need for state-sponsored religion! And to revive the tradition of Ancient Roman emperor worship. What? You think I exaggerate? Any astute cultural anthropologist would tell you that’s exactly what this is. Let’s continue⬇️
1) I went through the document and found a lot of seriously problematic proposals. The GOP is trying to sneak through some very terrible things. So let’s see what those are now⬇️
2) They want repeal minimum staffing standards for nursing homes. This will lead directly to suffering and death. It also includes long-term care facilities and institutions. Those are psychiatric/behavioral health facilities and facilities for the severely disabled. And also⬇️
3) They’re going to expand offshore oil drilling, other oil drilling, and reopen Alaskan National Wildlife Refuge oil drilling and also expand the drilling in ANWR. Let’s continue⬇️
1) Southern California is in a serious problem that has no easy solutions. These factors are the reality: Overpopulation, housing shortage, tax revenue shortage, water shortage, and climate change. We will examine all of this in the thread. Let’s begin⬇️
2) Homes are built in areas of serious wildfire risk. This is due to a shortage of land outside of risk areas coupled with too many people wanting to live in an area that’s actually beyond its true carrying capacity. Water supply should’ve made that clear decades ago. And also⬇️
3) It should be obvious that if you have to build in high-risk areas due to a housing shortage, you’re beyond the true carrying capacity of this region. Look, this is the cold, hard truth. I’m sorry. But there’s more factors than this also. And we’ll get to that. Let’s continue⬇️
1) Here come the McConcentration McCamps, the privatized concentration camps. That one there? GEO Group? They’re implicated in human rights violations. So is CoreCivic. And I have the evidence. We’ll get to that, too. But first, let’s see article highlights.⬇️
2) Basically, these corporations have a profit motive to do the very least while charging the maximum for it. I would imagine a forced detention of possibly millions of people would be very profitable for them. Let’s keep going⬇️
3) “Audited” by WHO? But now let’s get to the evidence⬇️
