Forest Rain @frisrael wrote, "There is cruelty and then there is another level of cruelty - one that delights in causing pain and mocks hope.
Mocking cruelty like the sign over the entrance to Auschwitz "Work will set you free" - 1)
while deliberately forcing Jews to do exhausting work that created nothing and the only freedom available was that of death.
It takes knowledge of the victim to know how to cause the deepest level of pain.
2)
Hamas understands us. They say of themselves "We love death like the Jews love life". They know that of all the hostages they took, it was the look of terror in the eyes of Shiri Bibas, desperate to protect her babies.
3)
They knew that the most effective way to hurt Yarden Bibas, who they captured and held separately, was to tell him that his wife and babies were dead - but not to show them to him. They made him make a video, begging for them knowing that this was the best way to hurt us too.
4)
Now Yarden is being released. A wonderful event that holds another layer of cruelty.
Tomorrow he will come home and no one will be able to tell him any news about his wife and babies because we don't know for sure.
5)
Israel asked for proof, to give the Bibas family certainty. Instead we are being given Yarden. This is deliberate, calculated cruelty.
Most people around the world have never encountered this level of evil.
6)
That makes it hard to understand what is happening, because how could anyone good even want to imagine that this level of evil exists?
But we need to look evil in the eye and recognize what it is. That is the only way we can ever be strong enough to counter it.
7)
And if we want to live, we must.
Look at this innocent, happy family. Pure good, swept up by twisted, nasty evil that delights in their suffering - because their suffering is our suffering.
And they don't just want Jews gone, they want us to suffer in the process.
8)
We must be strong. For Yarden. For our future.
We cannot live with this evil on our doorstep anymore."

This is the worst kind of gaslighting and propaganda that I have seen about the Jewish people in recent times. We experienced a horrific massacre on Oct 7, 2023 carried out by sadistic sociopathic Hamas terrorists...
who engaged in acts described as being worst than those carried out during the Shoah and who say they want to do it over and over again. These Hamas terrorists seek to destroy the State of Israel, the only Jewish state in the world and want to have another global Holocaust.

Their ancestors worked with Hitler during WW2. We are a tiny minority consisting of only about 0.2% of the world's population.

HaShem commands the first mitzvah to be given to the people of Israel: —- to establish a calendar based on the cycle of the moon and to bring a “Passover offering” to HaShem, a lamb or goat is to be slaughtered, and its blood sprinkled on the doorposts of every Hebrew home,

A mini history lesson:
In 1981, President Ronald Reagan faced a significant labor dispute with the Professional Air Traffic Controllers Organization (PATCO).
1)
On August 3, 1981, over 13,000 air traffic controllers went on strike, demanding higher wages, shorter hours, and increased benefits. Reagan responded by declaring the strike illegal and giving the strikers 48 hours to return to work.
2)
Only about 875 controllers returned, and on August 5, Reagan fired the remaining 11,345 strikers, imposing a lifetime ban on their rehiring.
Reagan's decision was based on the belief that public safety workers, such as air traffic controllers, had no right to strike.

The whole point of security clearance is so an individual has access to information needed for the job or to provide proper advice to an official. A Security clearance does not mean one gets protection.
2)
Bolton is wealthy. When he left the Government, he was offered a lot of high paying positions and has made up to $25,000 a time for public speaking."

History has a few interesting lessons that are too often ignored.
1)
One obscure but maybe most important one is that child-centered societies tend to be more future-oriented, more progressive (in the literal, not political sense), more moral, and
2)
place more emphasis on deferred gratification and personal and communal responsibility, which are the cornerstones of a stable, creative, and economically growth-oriented culture

You see, it sounds good until one sees what was actually done.
1)
What was done, to be blunt, is the hiring of “political commisars” to be embedded with every military unit, in every Government office, to instruct and to enforce political ideology that really happens to be contrary to the ideas of the USA - as it divided people by race,
2)
discriminated against religion, more some than others, and was about enforcing this by threatening those who dissented.
