Talked to a friend who has connections within the Democratic Party and he said the level of panic over Trump and Elon shutting down USAID is unlike anything he’s ever seen.
By following the money DOGE has struck a killing blow to the heart of the Democrat deep state machine.
Direct quote: “This is worse than 9/11 for Democrats. USAID is the primary vessel they use to achieve their political agenda. USAID is and always has been the primary source of funding for their influence peddling schemes and for their indirect sources of income”
Another text “Based on the reactions from within the party it seems to me that dismantling USAID is Trump’s biggest political victory to date, it was his enemy’s golden goose”
Same source who told me during the campaign (well before it was made public) that Kamala’s internal polling had her behind Trump so his information is good.
Another important addition. He said initial plans by the Democrats is to have their people at USAID hide the partisan funding under “unimpeachable initiatives”. “They will push back really hard on certain line items that on their face look like reasonable USAID expenditures and hide their political spending under these programs”
@elonmusk Looks like the whole thing needs to be thrown out to avoid this from happening.
More: “Another likely solution for Democrats which they already use to reward VIPs is to use NGOs as an intermediary to direct funds where they want them to go”
So basically USAID allocates funds for a certain initiative that looks reasonable. Democrat friendly NGO is contracted to carry out initiative. NGO #1 subcontracts “VIP” which is another NGO owned/operated by a political ally or Democrat politician. Eventually the funds reach the secret intended target and the original problem is not solved. This means they can continue to rinse and repeat this grift.
“If Trump/Elon want this to stick they need to completely shut down USAID or fire the entire staff, the party has instructed their allies to not make waves and blend in. USAID is 99% Democrats they will not be able to save it without risking internal sabotage.”

"Colorblind meritocracy" sounds great in theory and has worked for brief periods of American history. I think most of us were probably raised during one of these time periods so I understand the impulse to want to believe in the ideals of your childhood. But there are very specific reasons why it worked then and doesn't now that I will get into.
But first let's clarify one of these "harsh truths" as Vivek likes to say. Color-blind meritocracy is a very new idea that was solely practiced by Western White people of the 20th century. Non-whites have never adopted it and show no signs that they ever will. Their ingroup preference is only increasing. The data on this is very clear.
Getting a lot of DMs from Microsoft employees informing me they’ve been doing mass layoffs of Americans and then replacing the roles by contracting Cognizant who then outsources the work to India.
Basically doing an end around through these fraudulent H-1B companies to avoid Trump’s tariff plan.
I’m not super familiar with Trump’s tariff plan but it absolutely needs to put a steep cost on companies who shut down teams in America and then contract the work out overseas. The scale of this is actually more than the H-1B fraud.
Intel too, wouldn't be surprised if this is the model for every single big tech company. They enjoy special benefits from the US Government and then use that advantage to screw over the American worker. Creates a non-competitive environment. These are evil anti-american organizations and they need to be investigated.
Not sure how much of a brag this is when most if not all of these companies are engaged in anti-american practices that massively screw over the American worker.
I’ve been scrolling through approved H-1B visas all morning and it’s far worse than I thought. I’m talking janitors, line cooks, secretaries, and every entry level position you can think of.
The worst culprit by far is Cognizant who got almost 7,000 H-1B visas approved in 2024 alone. These people need to be investigated for defrauding the American people.
9 years later the country is unrecognizable. All through LEGAL immigration.
Look at how the language is the exact same. Removing country caps to bring in “highly skilled immigrants” is always code for importing the third world.
Illegal immigration in the US has been terrible and they all need to go back but it pales in comparison to what will happen if country caps are removed. Removing country caps from places like India and China is civilizational suicide. This cannot happen.
I don’t believe @DavidSacks wants to import the third world. I just think he’s naive to how these programs work and how easy it is for them to be abused. Corporations are incentivized to bring in low-skilled immigrants and pay them less while calling them “high skill”. It’s also very easy for bad actors to mass import people from their country of origin. Indians are very good at this particular type of immigration fraud.
