Let me suggest, that this is not billionaires bowing down to Trump, in withdrawing their support for climate action. As I have repeatedly explained at great length, it is the billionaires who have been blocking climate action. Most or all of them.

Billionaires, the WEF, were never backing climate action, they were pretending to back action, to try and control the agenda, because climate action, threatened their vested interests. So the best way to stop that, was to pretend to be in favour of climate action.

You have zero influence over climate action and policy, if you openly deny the climate crisis, unless you gain total power over the whole system. However, if you are very rich, and you pretend to support climate action, you can involve yourself in the framing of policy.

There may be a few billionaires that have some genuine concerns. However, if there are, they are like hen's teeth, and they will only support action in a limited way, as long as it doesn't compromise their vested interests.

If any rich and powerful person was genuinely concerned about the climate and ecological crisis, they would putting all their wealth and power on the line, to protect and support climate activists, buying up land to protect it. Where is that happening.

Take the British Royal Family, and the biggest fake climate concerned billionaire, King Charles. He's so concerned about climate change, that he's just bought 2 new swanky helicopters to fly around everywhere. What sacrifices, has he ever made?

Ah, that's it, on a PR TV documentary, he told us how he'd converted his old Aston Martin, to run on wine and cheese. Whilst he flies everywhere in jets and helicopters, just for him. Whilst living in great palaces consuming vast amounts of power.

At COP talks, at the WEF's Davos, event, you've never seen so many private jets. You would have to be a very stupid person, to think they wanted to address the climate crisis, with real action.

As I keep trying to tell everyone, the very rich and powerful are not trying to impose climate action on everyone, they are trying to stop climate action, and were trying to get control of the agenda, by pretending to be concerned about the climate crisis.

As I have been desperately trying to get across for a long time, look at my threads, I have been trying to explain, how they have been blocking climate action, and how it is almost invisible. They just block all action now, and say, but we'll do it in the future.

That's what they were saying at the 1992 Rio Earth Summit, 33 years ago. They were saying, just not yet, we will take action, we will have taken it by 20-30 years in the future (that's now in the past, and where is that action?).

This is how you block climate action. You pretend to be concerned about climate action, so you get involved in formulating climate policy. Then, once you have got control of the agenda, you say, we won't implement action now, but 30 years in the future.

Then when you get 30 years in the future, you push the action off for another 30 years. Net Zero by 2050 anyone. Remember the rich and powerful were promising climate action in 20-30 years time, at the 1992 Rio Earth Summit.

It was obvious in 1992, that we needed climate action, big emissions reductions immediately not in the future. Do bear in mind, that I had been environmentally aware for 22 years in 1992, and was just starting my ecology degree. I remember it well.

This is what I argued in 1992. Any politician promising climate action, but not until 20-30 years in the future, was simply lying. Because if they were telling the truth, why not take the action then?

It was clearly a strategy, for eternal procrastination.

The reason governments, the rich and powerful, have put on their performative display of wanting to address the climate crisis, is because as is the case now, a large proportion of the global population was concerned about the climate crisis.

The most obvious way of curbing the climate crisis, is to stop the excesses of the top 1% who produce more emissions than the bottom 66%. The top 1% didn't want this, so they put themselves in charge of addressing the climate crisis.
