On 22 February 2006 the Howard government’s Foreign Minister Alexander Downer and Bill Clinton signed a $25M MoU triggering the first round of Australian donations to the Clinton Foundation.
By December 2008 the Clinton Foundation reported that Australia was its largest Western Government donor.

In February 2008 Penny Wong announced the Clinton Foundation would get access to Australia's taxpayer funded CSIRO carbon accounting package.

In 2009-10 Kevin Rudd handed over another $10 million to the foundation for climate research, part of $300 million he squandered on a Global Carbon Capture and Storage Institute.

Between 2010-2013 Prime Minister Julia Gillard donated $300 million of taxpayer money to the Clinton-affiliated Global Partnership for Education.

In February 2014, Ms Gillard was appointed chair of the Clinton Foundation affiliated Global Partnership for Education, a leading organisation dedicated to expanding access and quality education worldwide.

In 2014 The Abbott government topped up the left-wing organisation’s coffers with another $140 million including 27 million to aid initiatives run through the foundation's Clinton Health Access Initiative.

In a press release dated September 22, 2014, Julie Bishop committed to five years of support for the Clinton Health Access Initiative, the sister organisation of the Clinton Foundation.

As of the end of 2016 Australian government donations to the Clinton Foundation totalled $460 million dollars according to a press release from Foreign Minister at the time Julie Bishop.

In 2016 Wikileaks emails released showed Australian green groups have been secretly funded to destroy the Australian coal industry by environmental activists connected to the Clinton campaign.

In late 2016 Australia cut all official ties with the Clinton Foundation following Hillary Clinton’s defeat in the US presidential election.

In 2015 Senator Bill Heffernan used parliamentary privilege to reveal he had a police document that named at least 28 alleged paedophiles, some of whom are prominent Australians.
Current politicians have either ignored it or called it an urban myth.

Milton Orkopoulos was a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly from 1999 to 2006, Orkopoulos was appointed Minister for Aboriginal Affairs and Minister Assisting the Premier on Citizenship in August 2005.
On 7 November 2006, Orkopoulos was arrested and charged with 30 offences including involvement in child prostitution, sexual assault and supplying illegal drugs. On 21 May 2008, Orkopoulos was sentenced to 13 years and 11 months in jail, with a non-parole period of 9 years and 3 months. He was released on parole in late December 2019. On 15 June 2020, Orkopoulos was arrested and questioned by NSW Police over further historical sex offence allegations. In April 2023, a jury found Orkopoulos guilty of 26 offences, and he was sentenced to a further 20 years in jail in November that year. He will be eligible for parole on 14 June 2033.

Keith Wright was an Australian politician, teacher, and Baptist preacher who was Leader of the Labor Party in Queensland and Leader of the Opposition in Queensland between 1982–1984.
He was jailed in 1993 for nine years, for raping and indecently dealing with two young girls. Wright was released on home detention in early 1999 and later granted parole.
He died in Vietnam in 2015 at the age of 72.

Don Henry and Kevin Ives, two Arkansas teenagers, were killed and their bodies placed on railroad tracks on August 23, 1987. At the time, the boys' deaths were controversially ruled accidental, but after Kevin Ives' body was exhumed and a second autopsy performed, the original examiner's ruling was overruled and the cause of death for Kevin Ives and Don Henry was changed from accidental to homicide. Conspiracy theorists, as well as Linda Ives, the mother of Kevin Ives, claim that the boys came upon a drug drop from an airplane, similar to Barry Seal's operations, near Mena and were then murdered. It was alleged in The Clinton Chronicles that during Bill Clinton's tenure as the governor of Arkansas he profited from drug smuggling at the Mena Airport and covered up the circumstances surrounding the deaths of the boys.

1992 - Ian Stuart Spiro was a commodities broker who shot his family dead in their home and then was found in his car, having committed suicide by cyanide poisoning. The case was officially declared a murder-suicide case at the hands of Spiro due to financial troubles. When he was revealed to be an American and British intelligence liaison, numerous conspiracy theories came about surrounding the families’ deaths, including involving the Clintons.

In 1988 NSW Premier, Barry Unsworth said “It will take a massacre in Tasmania before we will be able to introduce gun laws. In March 1996. A month before the massacre at Port Arthur “the Gun Coalition’s Tasmanian coordinator Mr. Rowland Brown, wrote to the Hobart Mercury newspaper warning of a Dunblane-style massacre in Tasmania unless the gun laws were changed”
Deputy Prime Minister Tim Fischer said in May 1996 “If we don’t get it right this time, the next time there is a massacre and there will be then they’ll take all our guns off us”

Prior to the Port Arthur massacre in 1996 the Tasmanian government ordered a custom design refrigerated morgue truck to hold 22 bodies. The truck was sold soon after the massacre.
