Liberal MP Ken Aldred used his parliamentary privilege accusing Melbourne tax lawyer Mark Leibler as working for the Israeli Mossad. He alleged that Leibler worked with the DFAT which harboured a 20 person pedophile ring. Leibler responded to claims saying they were “bizarre” and demanded Aldred be expel from parliament.

He was traveling with his wife Carolyn and sister-in-law Lauren Bessette. Kennedy had checked in with the control tower at the Martha's Vineyard Airport but the plane was reported missing after it failed to arrive on schedule. A memorial service was held for Kennedy on July 23, 1999.

Thread 🧵 Milton Orkopoulos was a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly from 1999 to 2006, Orkopoulos was appointed Minister for Aboriginal Affairs and Minister Assisting the Premier on Citizenship in August 2005.
On 7 November 2006, Orkopoulos was arrested and charged with 30 offences including involvement in child prostitution, sexual assault and supplying illegal drugs. On 21 May 2008, Orkopoulos was sentenced to 13 years and 11 months in jail, with a non-parole period of 9 years and 3 months. He was released on parole in late December 2019. On 15 June 2020, Orkopoulos was arrested and questioned by NSW Police over further historical sex offence allegations. In April 2023, a jury found Orkopoulos guilty of 26 offences, and he was sentenced to a further 20 years in jail in November that year. He will be eligible for parole on 14 June 2033.

At the time, the boys' deaths were controversially ruled accidental, but after Kevin Ives' body was exhumed and a second autopsy performed, the original examiner's ruling was overruled and the cause of death for Kevin Ives and Don Henry was changed from accidental to homicide. Conspiracy theorists, as well as Linda Ives, the mother of Kevin Ives, claim that the boys came upon a drug drop from an airplane, similar to Barry Seal's operations, near Mena and were then murdered. It was alleged in The Clinton Chronicles that during Bill Clinton's tenure as the governor of Arkansas he profited from drug smuggling at the Mena Airport and covered up the circumstances surrounding the deaths of the boys.
