We have said that @bbcnews has become a propaganda tool of Hamas.
Well here is the proof. Sit down and hold on to something.
Thread ⬇️⬇️⬇️
We need to talk about the BBC2 documentary run last night about children surviving the Gaza war.
A co-producer was a Palestinian activist - and one of the cameramen the BBC had hired in Gaza had saluted Oct 7.
A lot of the content was clearly staged. And the star of the show was a young Gazan boy called Abdullah -
Abdullah is from one of Gaza's affluent families and narrates the hour long documentary.
Now we need to go back to a Channel 4 news piece from November 2023. We are introduced to a young lad called Abdullah - the same Abdullah as the BBC used.
Channel 4 give his name as Abdullah Abu Shamalah - and introduce us to his father.
But here is where it gets interesting. That is not his name - and the man in the video is not his father. Someone lied to Channel 4.
In fact the name of the man playing the father in the video is Khalil Abu Shammala
He is the Director of a PFLP linked anti-Israel propaganda NGO called Al Dameer. This full time activist -was no doubt on site orchestrating whatever nonsense Channel 4 was being fed. They believe any old crap. It included pretending to be Abdullah's father.
The two people are related though. I searched FB - and found Shammala posting about his nephew. It is a video from 2022 - and shows that they had Abdullah in training to be a child propagandist for years. But it also gave me his real name. Abdullah Ayman Eliyazouri.
And with that name I could did further - I found a post that connected the Shammala and Eliyazouri clans. It was likely I now had Abdullah's father - Ayman Alyazouri.
And sure enough on Ayman's timeline were plenty of references to his son Abdullah ('Aboud').
And then things start to be very clear. Because Abdullah's (the BBC narrator) father is an official in the Hamas government. He currently holds the position of Deputy Minister of Agriculture - but has held official positions in education and planning.
Here is the father of Abdullah (the person who the BBC let demonise Israel for 60 minutes) - at an event in full Hamas gear.
The naivety, stupidity and arrogance of our media has allowed Palestinian propagandists to turn our legacy channels into foolish outlets blindly spouting Hamas lies 24/7.
Here is a post from Abdullah's father, praising Hamas terrorists who murdered four Israelis in June 2023.
In Gaza you do not achieve a position of power (head of a hospital, head of anything) unless your clan has factional weight. The same is true here. Ibrahim al-Yazouri was a founder of Hamas alongside Sheikh Yassin. On February 11 2021, Ibrahim al-Yazouri died of coronavirus.
And sure enough on 11 February 2021 - the father of our BBC narrator - posted a family mourning message for a founder of the Hamas terrorist group.
A few days before this - he had explicitly called him the head of the clan (family). Which means both Ayman and his son Abdullah - are 100% Hamas royalty.
The two photographers followed these children around for months. They absolutely knew who he was. Did either of the producers?
How did the BBC let a son of a Hamas minister walk around looking for sympathy and demonising Israel for an hour in a BBC documentary??
The BBC is publishing Hamas propaganda. We have the proof now. There is more detail and a few extra pieces - as well as all the links - in this article. david-collier.com/bbc-pantomime/

This is not the face of famine. It is the face of a medically vulnerable child whose tragic situation was hijacked and weaponised.
Exposing the truth behind the viral Gaza 'famine' image of Mohammed Al-Matouq. 1/13
🧵⬇️⬇️⬇️
You’ve seen the photo. A starving Gazan child. Bones showing. Headline after headline claiming it was proof of famine.
It ran on the front page of the Daily Express on 23 July. Then Sky News, CNN, NYT, BBC, Guardian, and others picked it up.
But they left something out. 2/13
Let me just start with other images the media chose not to use. Photographs of Mohammed with his 3-year-old brother Joud. Both mother and brother are healthy and fed.
Any honest journalist should have immediately questioned – and reported - what we were actually seeing. 3/13
BBC really cannot help itself.
@bbcnews really is a puppet for Hamas - a radical Islamic terror group.
You want proof? Just look at the BBC's headline right now:
Thread 🧵⬇️⬇️⬇️
The BBC is running a headline on its front page. It claims '21 children have died from malnutrition in the last 72 hours':
Inside the 'live' page, it is clear that the news comes from a single source - Dr Mohammed Abu Salmiya - the director of Shifa Hospital. He is the one who told the BBC that 900,000 children in Gaza are suffering from hunger, 70,000 of them in a state of malnutrition.
Seen the latest 'massacre at aid site' headlines? They are the result of a vicious and deliberate demonisation of Israel pantomime in Gaza directed by Hamas - that is happening every day.
Thread:

First, setting the scene. Since October 7 Israel has been fighting in Gaza to rescue hostages and to break Hamas's grip on power. A key part of this has been separating Hamas from aid distribution - which is why US contractors have been brought in to manage aid sites.
Hamas needs to control aid - so making the aid effort fail is in its direct interest. NGOs infiltrated by Hamas and other terrorist groups have aligned themselves with this goal. Their objective isn't feeding Palestinians - it's ensuring the aid program is seen to fail.
The Peter Johnston review into @bbcnews Hamas documentary scandal isn’t just damage control -
it is an outrageous whitewash - a scandal in its own right.
I have just published a response. 1/13
Thread 🧵⬇️⬇️⬇️
Hidden in footnote 38! A production team member admitted they hid the Hamas affiliation because it would ‘scare' the BBC. The BBC's review dismisses this as irrelevant, relying on 'good faith'.
This assumption of innocence - despite evidence - is institutional naivety. 2/13
The father of the narrator was a senior Hamas official. Yet the BBC claims this had no influence.
The boy went home to his Hamas father every night for months while filming took place. To suggest this dynamic had no influence at all defies all common sense. 3/13
Exclusive research: What happens when a pretty-looking media accuracy watchdog is actually an attack dog for the Muslim Council of Britain, dressed up for show?
Misinformation. Misrepresentation. Misleading and manipulated statistics.
Thread - 🧵⬇️⬇️⬇️
The Centre for Media Monitoring claims the anti-Israel BBC actually has a pro-Israel bias! Yes, you read that right. I read all 188 pages of CfMM’s report - so you do not have to.
Their argument is dressed in manipulated data - and @cfmmuk statistics are wildly misleading.
The first big lie: Their headline claim was that Israeli deaths were covered 33x more than Palestinian ones.
But this stat is built on deceptively counting boilerplate references. A contextualising para at the end of most BBC articles. It’s junk methodology and they know it.

A personal journey of abuse and discrimination as I reapplied for a press card.
🧵🧵🧵⬇️⬇️⬇️
Because I work behind enemy lines, I have often been targeted at protests. A press card afforded me some protection - so I had held a NUJ card for several years. As my work evolved I was on the street less and I let my last NUJ card expire. The date? October 2023.
October 7 changed everything, and following a very threatening incident I reapplied. I had done it twice before, so did not give it much thought. I made the application in spring 2024 expecting a swift turnaround. This time however, things were going to go very differently...
