An @BBC news thread - for those who do not understand JUST HOW BAD the BBC Hamas propaganda documentary was. There have been several key scoops - and I thought I would bring the issues together.

You know the young chef and her elder sister Nourhan - who appear as one of the subjects in your piece? We already know that their father was a Captain in the police force (you know - the people who enforce the laws of Hamas). And we also know he spent two years in an Israeli jail during the first Intifada...

A co-producer was a Palestinian activist - and one of the cameramen the BBC had hired in Gaza had saluted Oct 7.

The BBC team went to Dearborn Michigan - and posted a clip with an interview of three 'random' Arab Americans.

Yesterday we saw horrific images being streamed from Gaza once more, as Hamas conducted another hostage release circus. Some will try to deceive you into believing that the creation of Hamas - and its actions - are somehow the fault of Israeli behaviour.

A short thread. This really does need pushback. On 9 January Abubaker Abed posted a clip of himself dressed as a journalist - talking about how the international community needs to stand by Palestinian journalists:

His video received almost 5 million views and 32K likes Anti-Israel politicians and journos jumped on it. For example Alex Crawford from Sky spoke about how let down Gazan journalists feel and said it was impossible to feel anything but shame.

A few days ago I saw a FB post from a Rabbi in Jerusalem complaining about how he was treated in a @BBCNEWS interview. Told it was about Chanukah - he just faced a barrage of aggressive questions.

So I checked - and it was even worse than the Rabbi realised. Thread⬇️⬇️⬇️ There wasn't one interview - there were three. A set. Spread over several hours the BBC had interviewed 3 religious leaders - a Reverend an Imam and a Rabbi.

For me it was a perfect opportunity. It means we can compare the way they were treated. And the difference is shocking

It is Christmas time - and Christmas is a wonderful holiday.

But people also use it to spread lies and turn Christians against Jews, and so I want to take the opportunity to share five historical facts with followers and friends that are important to remember.

1. It demonises Israel

Well this time they really outdid themselves. Shocking even for them. Thread ⬇️⬇️ Last night @bbcnews published an article on Syria. On the face it was written by @LucyWilliamson. The report is junk - even its opening line is deceptive - and the content paints Israel as irrational warmongers.

All this is usual for the BBC - but look a little closer.

Nobody should believe a word about Israel that comes from @bbcnews

And the more you dig - the worse it all gets.
