The relative calm in the Republican Party right now is almost certainly because of the Sword of Damocles that @elonmusk and @america PAC hold over the GOP caucus.

This was because the money for re-election campaigns — AND PRIMARIES — was held by groups that were not, shall we say ,“aligned” with the President.
With @America PAC, this all changed.

It meant that GOP primary winners often tacked towards (/were forced to vote with) the “old guard.”
Some call this group the “controlled opposition” GOP. This is unkind. Many have good intentions.
But when you need money + data to keep your job, you can be pressured.

Now, @elonmusk and @america PAC are building THEIR OWN “voter files.”
They can help aligned candidates raise money and contact voters FROM DAY ONE.
This also applies to SITTING members of Congress. Whose job, as soon as they swear in, is to get re-elected.

Everybody saw what happened in “the swings” in 2024 (they went 7/7).
So now folks are ON EDGE.
They must support the President’s priorities or they might lose access to one of the best DATA sets next election.

I don’t mean to distract from the Trump Campaign here — by all accounts (and by my observation) they did an AMAZING job.
But the work they did wouldn’t have had the same impact without the separate, uncoordinated, data-centric work being done by America PAC.

This is going to have LONG TERM impact. The donor class — which previously only had a few options into which they could push PAC money — now has an AMERICA FIRST POWERHOUSE that is willing to roll up its sleeves in primaries.
Then continue pushing once folks take office.

President Trump has been a TRANSFORMATIVE candidate and Chief Executive.
But I believe that America PAC can help MAGA endure for years, if not decades.
