If the U.S. Withdraws Completely, What Will Ukraine Do? 🧵
We will still fight. And more people will die—that is the only thing Trump will achieve. Just like we fought when the war started.

2/ To remind you:
🇺🇸 Ukraine received its first U.S. cannons 4 months into the war.
🇺🇸 First MLRS? 6 months.
🇺🇸 First tanks? 1 year.
🇺🇸 Long-range rockets? 2 years.
🇺🇸 F-16s? 2.5 years.
3/ During all that time, we bled, begging for quicker help. Through pain and tears, we fought—losing our best people while politicians played their petty games.
So if anyone thinks we will simply surrender without U.S. support—no way. But we will remember it…
4/ You do not understand Ukraine. Even under the Soviet Union, it took years to crush the post-WWII Ukrainian resistance—it lasted into the early 1950s.
So why would you think that people who have lost loved ones to ruzzia—people with modern war experience—will simply disappear?
5/ I hope we won’t be left without help. The EU will continue supporting us for both ethical & security reasons.
And we will seek new allies—there are other geopolitical players beyond the U.S. and russia that seek influence.
6/ Also, we have our own weapons:
🚀 We produce 4 million drones per year—more than any other country.
🛠️ We have built artillery shell factories & are developing our own rockets.
7/ To remind you:
🚀 The most successful Soviet nuclear missile was made in Ukraine.
✈️ We built the largest cargo airplane in history.
🛰️ Our rockets continue launching satellites into space—even after the war began.
We are not some banana republic.
8/ And if we really wanted, we could even build nukes.
We are the only capable European army right now—and that should be taken seriously.
9/ We stand between the EU and russia. Imagine the nightmare if russia integrated Ukrainian troops into its military.
No, you cannot afford that—unless you plan to commit suicide.
10/ So, to put it simply: Losing U.S. support would be a painful blow. But we will endure it.
Because we know the alternative to war is surrender to genocide—which would kill even more.
11/ Check our history if you want to understand that.
🇺🇦 Ukraine will not fall.

1️⃣ Are Ukrainians thankful for U.S. support?
Absolutely—immensely. President Zelenskyy has expressed gratitude to the American people many times. Ukrainians have done the same. I, too, have expressed my thanks in dozens of posts and speeches.
2️⃣ Would Ukraine have collapsed within weeks without U.S. support in 2022?
No. Ukraine had one of Europe’s largest & most experienced armies, with its own weapons & ammo. U.S. aid played a key role, but it arrived later.
The MAGA propaganda machine is now in full force. They will attack Zelenskyy for not “respecting the Oval Office,” for being “ungrateful,” and for not being “ready for peace.”

2/ Trump needed another excuse not to support Ukraine. He promised to stop the war — but he cannot. Now, he can shift the blame to Zelenskyy and Ukraine, accusing them of not wanting peace.
3/ Frankly, I don’t see how President Zelenskyy could have responded any differently to the blatant lies thrown at him and his country.
It is sad to see Christians silently watching Trump’s blasphemous behavior.
Yesterday, Trump shared a video of Gaza in which he fantasized about literally building a golden idol of himself in the Holy Land.

2/ I am sure this won’t bother the evangelicals who voted for him, even though the Bible clearly states: “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.” (Exodus 20:4, NIV)
3/ Last week, Trump declared himself the “best president in U.S. history” and claimed to be “a better president than George Washington.”
Trump repeatedly lies about the $350 billion figure. Even his own administration has denied this number, yet he continues to repeat the false claim and push it on Ukraine. Today, Zelenskyy has clearly stated that he will not sign this deal.

2/ According to an interagency oversight group, since russia’s illegal invasion in February 2022, the U.S. Congress has allocated approximately $183 billion to Ukraine.
3/ Of this amount, the Pentagon confirmed that the U.S. has provided $65.9 billion in military aid, with an additional $3.9 billion in authorized military assistance still unspent. The remainder consists of non-military aid.
You chose Donald Trump as your president. And today, your president picked up the phone and called the world’s number one terrorist.

2/ Not to demand justice. Not to hold him accountable. But to talk. To negotiate. To treat him like a legitimate leader.
So tell me — how do you feel about that?
3/ Would you have accepted a president who called Bin Laden after 9/11? Would you have justified sitting down with ISIS? Because that’s exactly what just happened.
There’s been a lot of discussion recently about an end to the war here in Ukraine. As an American living in Ukraine, I’ve been baffled by both the substance and tone of much of that discussion. It seems like some basic facts are being forgotten or ignored.

2/ If we’re going to talk about how this war will or should end, we need to understand how it began and why it continues.
This war began because Russia wanted something that wasn’t theirs, and decided to take it through violent force.
3/ Ukraine did not “get itself into this war.” Ukraine was invaded against its will.
This war continues because Russia continues to wage it. They kill Ukraine’s best and bravest along the front lines and terrorize and murder civilians through drone and missile strikes.
