President Zelenskyy publicly confirms that as Trump Administration said, he's been been dicking around @SecScottBessent @SecRubio @VP and @POTUS for 2 weeks. 1/
3/ Zelenskyy's thread shows precisely what Trump meant when he said they learned much "that could never be understood without conversation under such fire and pressure." Zelenskyy and his folks were telling Trump & his team, Ukraine was ready to start negotiation process, but no:
4/ Zelenskyy final and clearly admits he wants much more first--things Trump already said no to. That's Zelenskyy's prerogative but America's prerogative is to say no we aren't giving any security guarantees up front b/c that risks expanding war.
5/ Trump's Truth Social post right after meeting blew up had immediately put finger on pulse of problem that Americans are just now seeing. EU seems okay with Zelenskyy's demands so more power to them & God willing they can defeat Putin.
6/ If EU's security guarantees are enough for Zelenskyy and he doesn't demand any from U.S., maybe there is way forward w/ Trump's mineral rights proposal but questions are a) how does those security agreements impact US given NATO alliances? and
7/7 b) how can US trust Zelenskyy after he lied to top officials for 2 weeks?

3/ Opinion is here: Note that Court says if I can't order an injunction I'm exercising mandamus authority and excercising it. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.usco…
🚨BREAKING: And Trump Administration files emergency Motion to Stay with district court in Dellinger case. 1/
2/ Further evidence suggesting Trump is hedging Supreme Court may dismiss as moot its Application for Stay of the "TRO". This expedites b/c you have to ask D.Ct. before COA. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.usco…
3/ Trump Administration also notes problem with order, that Declaratory Judgment is in essence an injunction which isn't allowed. That was my point that Trump can just say "your fired (again)" and what will Dellinger do? Likely say "the Court held that's unlawful" and ignore.
3/ Unsurprisingly, Judge order Dellinger's removal was unlawful & that Article II did not provide the executive to fire him. She also entered a declaratory judgment declaring firing illegal and that he remained Special Counsel & enjoining all defendants but Trump.
3/ I'm still reading opinion but this footnote makes me think the Court's ruling is way off: That Trump issued an EO proclaiming something means he "found" it to be the case.
3/ AIDS Vaccine & Global Grift basically argue emergency is one of Trump's own making & Trump can't appeal a TRO. Problem is that the order entered was an injunction (pay $2 billion) and not a TRO.
2/ Here is complaint, which highlights first point: If you skim you can see how much federal money is being pushed out to "non-profits" on spurious grounds. Hydra demands to be fed!storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.usco…
3/ Second, this case allows me to explain broader point of what happens with all this litigation practically. This lawsuit challenges DEI EOs. It presents many of same claims (if not all), presented by National Ass. of Diversity Officers in an earlier case.
