If you understand that the world Trump and Musk aim to create is one in which the Democratic Party doesn't exist—indeed democracy doesn't exist—but an American Empire (with vassal states) allied with a Russian Empire, Indian Empire, Chinese Empire and Saudi Caliphate, you get it. Image
Musk isn't just an enemy of America.

It no longer suffices to call him that.

He's an enemy of Western democracy, and indeed democracy everywhere.

Read up on his guru—Curtis Yarvin—and on far-right techno-optimist transhumanism, and you will understand the evil the world faces.
What America saw yesterday in DC was a Democratic Party that supports democracy and our democratic allies in Europe while opposing the would-be Russian Empire. Every time Trump and Musk attack Europe and weaken our democracy—and democracy abroad—they reveal exactly what they are.
A time is surely coming—and soon—when every American will have to choose whether they are on the side of America, Europe, and democracy, or on the side of autocrats in Russia and India and China and Saudi Arabia who are working with American fascists to destroy the United States.
As a lifelong hater of democracy, Elon Musk has engineered the Twitter algorithm to throttle anyone who speaks out against him on this platform.

It also puts him into a bubble—like the one Trump is in at Truth Social—that causes them to falsely believe they are in the majority.
This country does not want a king. It does not want to be an Empire. And all the cultish Republicans in Washington or Silicon Valley preparing for Trump and Musk to rule this nation as monarchs cannot change the character of this nation from one that adores democracy and freedom.
Perhaps all this sounds hyperbolic to you. Perhaps it sounds like hyperventilating. Please know that I do not give a s*** how it sounds, because I'm a Donald Trump and Elon Musk biographer who has published seven bestselling books on these men and I know where all this is headed.
In other words, I've no interest in trying to convince anyone of anything. I've dedicated my life to studying the evidence of what these men want and what they've done, and we're very soon going to live through—all of us together—what they have planned.

Then *everyone* will see.
Please understand that none of this is opinion or guesswork—Trump and Musk can be assessed by the things they've done and said, the policies they've advanced, the associations they've formed, the lies they've told, the schemes of which they're a part. It only takes studying them.
My bio is below. I don't claim to be smarter in this regard than anyone else, only more committed to studying these autocrats. Anyone reading this who'd spent the last decade studying one or both of these men would come to the same conclusions that I have. sethabramson.net/bio
I hope that anyone reading this who sees exactly what I see in the data and evidence will say so as widely as you can.

Everyone who understands the danger Western democracy is in right now has, I feel, a *moral* obligation to speak up.

Trump and Musk are monsters in our midst.
A time is coming—though I've no idea when—when the Trump-Musk mask comes off: martial law imposed; elections postponed; protests outlawed.

On or before then, feeds like mine will disappear. A metal curtain will come down here, turning Twitter into an action station for fascists.
Could things go differently? Of course. No one knows the future. The question is whether there's *any evidence at all* in the public sphere to indicate that Trump and Musk will allow their march toward an American monarchy to be stopped by elections or democracy.

The answer: no.
No one reading this has seen Trump or Musk back down from anything or reverse course. No one reading this has seen them ever admit a significant error. Everyone reading this has seen them routinely attack democratic institutions and Western democracies. But it's not what's scary.
When the WSJ revealed Musk had been in regular clandestine contact with Putin as Putin committed historic war crimes—including kidnapping a generation of Ukrainian kids—a Rubicon had been crossed.

Why? Because Musk did this while *knowing* America was indirectly fighting Russia.
It was not long after that that Musk confessed on video to Kremlin asset Tucker Carlson—Canada has identified Carlson as a Kremlin asset—that if a Democratic administration again came to power, he'd go to prison.

He wouldn't say for what, but he clearly *believed it to be true*.
If you think the richest man who's ever lived—who deems himself infallible as to his grand plan for Earth and who, per his friends, believes his life's work to be more important than anyone else's—is going to allow a Democrat into the White House again, you don't understand him.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump is only not rotting in a federal prison right now because he ascended to the presidency. And he already said, after January 6, that it was a mistake for him to ever leave the White House without requiring force be applied to him to ensure it. Process that.
Anyone who believes Trump will willingly leave the White House under any circumstances—knowing that doing so would remove from him the legal immunity that's currently keeping him out of prison—doesn't understand the man whatsoever.

He and Musk believe they *cannot* cede power.
The third co-president, who helped Musk pick Vance and is supplying many of the foot-soldiers for the illegal "DOGE" coup now underway in DC, is a literal cultist who has fallen under the spell of genocidal maniac Curtis Yarvin.

That man is Peter Thiel—and he too is dangerous.
"Yarvinism" openly opposes the continuation of democracy as a form of government—and that's one of the *least* scary things about Yarvin. He also believes only a small number of humans are "productive," and all the rest should be murdered or enslaved in some fashion. Immediately.
Unlike his co-presidents Trump and Musk, the reason Thiel won't let democracy continue much longer isn't because he fears prison; to my knowledge, he's committed no crimes yet.

But he *is* a pseudo-religious fanatic who believes the future of humanity depends on democracy's end.
It's against this backdrop that these men are purging our military of generals whose loyalty is to the Constitution rather than Trump, purging it of lawyers who believe turning the USAF on Americans is unconstitutional and a war crime, and want ethics out of warfighting entirely.
It's against this backdrop that these men have fired the top officials at the FBI and DOJ—who, along with DoD, would be responsible for enforcing martial law—and replaced them with people who've been Trump's personal attorneys. But that's not the only purge they're now executing.
The FBI and DOJ are openly hunting within their ranks for anyone who fought back the last time Trump led an insurrection against America, in 2021.

It's the one thing Trump's lawyers at the DOJ and FBI *specifically* consider their top task: eliminating all anti-insurrectionists.
Meanwhile, we watch in real time as Musk and Thiel send their soldiers into every federal department to destroy it.

Destroy its morale, destroy its ability to operate, and most importantly destroy its ability to resist a coup or keep citizens informed in the midst of a conflict.
We're told they just want to eliminate fraud and abuse in our government—but the first thing they did was fire the 18 Inspectors General who find fraud and abuse in our government. And the second was to recruit anonymous blackhat hackers to hack into sensitive American databases.
There's now chaos in our government. The economy was predicted to grow by 3% on the day Biden left; now it's predicted to contract by 3%. Mass protests over this and the fact that our government is about to stop functioning are likely—and likely what the three co-presidents want.
The former head of the Social Security Administration just said that checks are likely to stop going out in April.

Medicaid and Medicare will be cut under a budget Republicans just passed.

Civil unrest seems likely.

And it will be met with preplanned violence and martial law.
How do we know? Because Trump wanted to shoot protesters during his first term, per his top aides. He wanted martial law in his first term. Indeed, the dozen-plus Seditious Conspirators he just pardoned planned January 6 as a way to incite violence that would warrant martial law.
Every piece of evidence gathered from January 6 confirms its Trumpist irregulars—carrying 100+ varieties of weapons, as itemized at PROOF—believed leftist protesters would show up in DC that day, and a clash between the groups would give Trump an excuse to *declare martial law*.
Of course, that plan failed for one very simple reason: no leftist protesters showed up in the capital on January 6.

Nor was there any *reason* for them to show up. There was nothing to protest.

But Trump, Musk and Thiel are now intent on *giving* the left something to protest.
Those protests will happen. They'll be met with violence from government forces. Trump will have the excuse to declare martial law he wanted to have on January 6. Anyone at the Pentagon who'd object to the imposition of martial law will be long gone by then—ditto the FBI and DOJ.
So when you read misinformation and disinformation from Musk here on Twitter every day—and when you see that he's *particularly* focused on falsely accusing the left of hating America and having a plan to end our democracy—he's simply laying the groundwork to justify martial law.
I wonder if he even realizes that the true genius of his plan to end our democracy permanently is that he's executing the components of it—or nearly every component—out in public. It's that very fact that causes people to sleep on what he's doing and call his critics mere cranks.
Again, whether you accept this or not no longer matters.

The plan is too far along to be stopped, and the men behind it psychologically preset to never stop if there's something they desire—no matter who or what their actions harm.

It's only a question of when the hammer falls.

(🧵) THREAD: I'm an Elon Musk biographer. Musk and/or his agents have programmed his AI to make false statements about me that the AI makes no effort to substantiate or correct. So here's a thread of the substantiated claims about Musk that Grok says it can make.

(🧵) So many people have Trump wrong. What he wants is not Putin's Russia or Hitler's Germany. I've studied him for a decade and can tell you that if his plans come true, America will resemble the Hermit Kingdom—North Korea—with Trump as Kim Jong-un and the rest of us in poverty.
2/ Nazism holds some above others. Trump holds himself above everyone—that's the distinction he cares about.
Russia suffers an oligarch class to exist. Trump may do so for now—but his plan is for them to be his servants.
He wants the rest of us in pain and anonymous as pond scum.
To make Trump legible to the masses, we analogize him to a kleptocrat or a fascist. And he does contain those components. But what he wants—lusts for—is to be worshipped and never denied, to shape reality to suit his whims, to not be bothered with others’ welfare and our despair.

I just woke up from a long nap, can someone tell me if Trump has already apologized to the nation for falsely blaming the Kirk assassination on the left when—as with both his assassination attempts and 85% of political violence this century per the data—it was a far-right nutjob?
He is a Groyper. The Groypers are a far-right, neo-Nazi cult made up of young far-right males who thought Kirk was insufficiently far-right. thedailybeast.com/charlie-kirk-s…

Bomb threats against the Maryland General Assembly. Bomb threats against the Michigan lieutenant governor and his family. Bomb threats against 5 HBCUs. Two arrests for violent assaults in Idaho.

In 24 hours.

All Democratic/left-leaning victims.

All suspected MAGA perpetrators.
And that wasn't a full list—not even close.

Bomb threat against the Rhode Island Senate President. Bomb threat against the Rhode Island Majority Leader. Bomb threat against the New Mexico Senate Majority Leader. Once again all Democratic victims, all suspected MAGA perpetrators.
There's no reason to have a conversation about political violence based in rhetoric rather than data.

I don't need to note that every bomb threat on Election Day in 2024 was a MAGA bomb threat.

I don't need to mention January 6, Paul Pelosi, or the two dead Minnesota Democrats. Image

There was significantly less political violence in America before the 2016 presidential campaign. We all know why.

That doesn’t change that what happened today—in both Utah and Colorado—were tragedies.

It just underscores that revisionist history won’t solve America's problems.
Donald Trump transformed politics into an ultraviolent Thunderdome.

He did it for his own advancement, and he didn’t care what the consequences would be.

It’s *also* true that since Trump poisoned our politics there’s been violence from both Left and Right, though mostly Right.
Both Trump assassination plots I condemned immediately and unreservedly. Both would-be assassins were Republicans. The assassin who killed Minnesota’s Speaker was also Republican. So was the man who plotted to kill Pelosi. But there have been leftist assassins too. I condemn all.

There's no lie Elon Musk and his racist friends won't tell to try to hurt nonwhites—or even, I fear, to try to get deranged others to *literally* hurt nonwhites.

And we know these racists want to cause pain because a two-second Grok search would destroy every one of their lies. Image

If you read the comments on Musk's racist post, it's person after person after person absolutely convinced that Muslims never migrate to other Muslim countries but only come to Europe or America and only do so as part of some sort of invasion. These folks are touched in the head.
The history of human migration, by whatever group—of whatever race or ethnicity or religion—is that sometimes migrants are looking for a very similar place, sometimes a slightly different place, sometimes a very different place.

That has been human nature for thousands of years.
