ALGEBRA & ALGORITHM: HINDU INVENTION

Mohammedans often falsely take credit for the invention of Algebra & Algorithm crediting them to Al-Khwarizmi.

However both Algorithm & algebra has been used and developed in Indian(Hindu) mathematics over the ages much before Islam was born which was later translated by Al khwarizmi.Image
Islamic golden age of science & maths started when Al Mamun of Baghdad invited Indian astronomers & mathematicians to its court and got many Hindu mathematic treatises translated. Al Khwarizmi also served in Mamun’s court as a translator of Indian mathematics.

His own books were directly named Kitab al-Hisab al Hindi (which translates to book of Indian mathematics) & Zij-al Sind hind (translation:Astronomy table from India.Image
ALGORITHM:

The word “Algorithm” got its name from the latinised version of Al Khwarizmi work named “Algoritmi de numero Indorum”

Guess what the name means.

Earlier it was known to academics and translators that Al Khwarizmi’s works are nothing but translations from Indian mathematics until Mohamedans started plagiarising it as their own invention. Image
Sulbasütras are part of kalpasutras, which are one of the six Vedängas. These are essentially manuals for geometrical constructions of Vedic altars. Baudhayana, Äpastamba, Katyayana etc. are some of the Sulbasütras.

Algorithm has been part of these ancient Sulvasutras from Vedic time, then advanced in medieval mathematics of Kerala school.Image

The first clear enunciation of the cube root algorithm is found in Aryabhatiya by Renowned mathematician Aryabhata: Image

Kuṭṭaka is an algorithm for finding integer solutions of linear Diophantine equations. The algorithm was originally invented by the Indian astronomer-mathematician Āryabhaṭa. Image
They are important in astronomy also, for instance, in the calculation of Ahargana (the number of days elapsed from a given epoch) from the mean longitudes of planets. Image
The above shows India's advancement in Astronomy & algorithm being an important factor to achieve it. Image
Coming to Astronomy, In the book Al Beruni's India, Sachau writes how Indians went to Baghdad with books like Brahmasiddhanta & the first time Arabs became acquainted with astronomy because of Indians.

So how did India advance so much in Astronomy without knowing the algorithm?

Hilarious empty rhetoric! U didn't even research primary sources by British themselves

Myth 1: The British provided better education by dismantling Gurukuls.

Fact:
1. Surveys done by the British themselves shows the Indian method of studies in its indigenous schools was superior to the British during the colonial regime.

2. In Contemporary England during the colonial regime there were hardly any thorough studies except in religious spheres.

3. The average period of schooling was hardly 1-2 years.

4. In fact it was the Indian method of studies that actually helped the introduction of popular education in England that existed in India for centuries.

5. In some country schools of England, writing was excluded for fear of evil consequences.

6. The British only wanted to replace Indian schools with their own so that they could uproot indian civilization to bring people to an institutionalised, formal, law-abiding Christianity.Image

Fact: Vedic universities like Nalanda, Vikramshila, Takshashila, Odantpuri were not only highly formalised, they were famous all over the world & many foreigners used to come to study there.

Myth 3: Indians were able to discover Indus valley due to John Marshall

Fact: It was actually a Hindu Brahmin Rakhaldas Banerjee who first discovered IVC. Marshall got him shifted to snatch the entire credit.Image

Fact: Heard about Panini? He had formalised Sanskrit Grammar in such a superior way that British themselves used to think not learning Sanskrit scriptures will be a dis-service to themselves.
